First off gotta say i sold my LS1 to get an 03.this is why you will see me here giving props to ls1's because beeing a former owner and memeber i personally know what these cars are capable of.any way to the story.03 vs crager.Just got off work cruising home minding my own business and a twin turbo 300z pulls along side of me thinking he was about to rape a gt i guess.not knowing it was really a 03.long story short he got owned,but wants me on the long run on the beltway.well crager was getting gas at the exxon on beltway and saw me own the little guy and felt sorry and came after me.crager pulls up when were talking and insist on going ,i did not want to because i know what he has and i have no tires yet.so he talks me into a 50 roll which is ok because of being superchaged and all this would be good.so were off and i tell you out of all my kills in this car nobody has ever been looking at me after the launch.after we launch i could not loose him so i bang third."HE'S STILL LOOKING AT ME" ,bang fourth "WHY WON'T HE LEAVE" ,bang fifth and i gotta tell you if you never seen a photo finish there it was.we probably could have taken it past 120 mpn but everybody knows crager runs 410 gears and that would not have been fair.all in all cool guy,cool car,but photo finish.oh yeah ask crager how it fells to drive an 03 cobra.i don't know why he would not get in to the power band though after i tossed him the keys????????

nice run sounds like fun,me and crager went at it once with my mustang and had a very good race.he's a nice guy.

btw...have you ran the cobra at the track yet?

Have taken it to the track and was very impressed with a 12.1 with only x-pipe and pulley.The horsepower now with x-pipe,catback,pulley,cold air kit is in the mid 400's until chip comes back.been having problems with that but hoping for 470 range this friday.with these mods i hope for 470+hp and 11.7-11.9 timeslip

P.S. Jay I didn't want rag on a car that was "new" to me and miss a gear. That shifter was a little to awkward for me.
