Smoked an eclipse BPU gst with 15psi, Dude was cool I was coming home from class when I was lucky enough to pull up next to a eclipse gst (front wheel drive) bpu eclipse with 15psi through the stock turbo and what I figured to be a boost gauge on the A pillar. We went from a first gear roll and both managed to spin the tires pretty good with me putting about 2 on him, then I hit second still spinning the 315s and put an additional 2 on him, and then I hit third and let out about midway through and added another 2 for about a total of six cars. The guy was pretty cool. I asked him if it was a gst (I couldn't hear his turbo because of my car although I did see the normal huge tip) and he replied yes. I asked him how much boost and he said 15psi through the stock turbo. I have run bpu'd stock turbo eclipses before and they are pretty decent performers. I was impressed with the way my car performed with this cam as my ltrms are at +25 at idle (getting lean codes) and about 15 at cruz. I decided to put my injector flow rate table back to stock values as I will be putting on my SLP Maf tomorow and wanted the cars maf table and ifr table to be stock once I put it on. Anyway it was all in good fun.

Re: Smoked an eclipse BPU gst with 15psi, Dude was cool my brother has a second gen. eclipse the turbos on those are very small, the first gens have a bigger turbo. Any way it does pretty good for an import. One night I raced a 68' Lemans with a 400.
