Lasty was that an AWD or FWD cause on the dyno it looked as though it was only running FWD for some reason.

Ok, but which one is Chris??? and why was he not going to pay up if he broke something at the starting line??? This race kind of strikes me as being doomed from the beginning if that was in the language of the bet.

It looks to me like a stripper GSX is a 24/2500 lb car at best. I had a 91 GSX automatic and it weigh 3500 and some change with me in it, and I weigh about 340 lbs.

All that being said, The guy in the T/A knew what he was getting into, and if he didn't like the situation, he should have backed out. The T/A lost and the deadbeat should pay up.

And to the idiot that made it sound like 1000 hp imports grow on trees, you are so full of crap that if bullshit could fly, you'd be a 747. i just viewed the movie and read the 5 pages of posts. some of the crap that got brought up is just ridiculous. who gives a 2 ***** if rwd cars are known for their straight line heroics. 2 cars raced for money, story over. pay up. thats a great point about the escrow account to transfer the money though. i would never bring $1000 out to a street race anyways.. there are so many crazys out there. but the point remains, pay the car who obviously won. just sad to see they cant have the integrity to pay up the money. just looks like the transam guys didnt know what the hell they were getting themselves in to.

Both of the cars look a bit loose at one point in the video...

Street racers up here are very specific about the finish line and it seems in in that vid as it if was agreed on and then later contested... I linked up some street racers up here and they felt that the Eclipse won.

MTI lost the race or turbocharges.com lost, I don't know. They didn't pay.... end of story. Let them sort it out.
