so im getting off of woodbridge center onto st george aka rte 35 and im rolling past pearls at a good 45 -50 when i swore i heard rice i glance up and slow slightly and this little honda CRX SI roars into the lane infront of me cutting me off i slam my brakes so i dont hit him..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> so i drop back into drive and cut up alongside him on the ride give him the finger.... ohh wonderfull there two guys in the car....the guy sees me pull up and throws a revv....hes gotto be jokeing right i mean...it looks like a shoe box...but hey im steaming anything to crush this little ricers spirits so we slow a little and he honks to go i give him half a second before i take off figureing id love to rub it in his face even more... so i pound the gas takeing off after him fly by him and slide into mc donalds... a few seconds after i rolled straight ahead and in the crx pulls in too...now im not exactly a small guy but they were somewhere in there late 20's and a lil bigger than me....so needless to say im a lil nervouse...well the driver gets out and strikes up a conversation asking me questions about my car....turned out to be a nice guy it sounded like he did some cool things with the car ...i guess not all ricers are total jerks... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

 

I alway get a little nervous when stuff like that happens too. I'm in the same situation not a small guy: pretty built (I go to the gym a lot) but you never know what they are planning to do. A baseball bat does change the situation a bit. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

 

I'm a big guy but so what. If more than one guy gets out then its two on one. If they come at me they are getting their *** shot. If the two of them are smaller, then I would just use my 21" steel baton. ill give you that but its not like he was a total cocky son of a bitch....one of those guys i wouldnt mind talking to in a bar...i dunno

 

he cant be too cool if he cut you off and you had to slam on your brakes. That deserves the finger.

 

you probably don't have any more than 230 hp under the hood. My '87 Zer was similar to what you got and i did alot of tuning tricks to it. Being a mechanic, i'm cheap and will find hp gains in free ways. But, for the ricer, a CRX came beside me one day and it was dead even. Although he had $5000 in the engine and was slammed too low, he should of killed me! I guess he'll reinvest in a stang.

 

At least you guys have some size. Try being 5'6", 135 lbs with a short fuse. I always seem to get into
verbal confrontations when driving. One day I'm going to get a serious *** kicking. Driving an LS1 seems to make me feel holier than I actually am.
Thankfully I've given up on the "ricer" thrashing. It was always a waste of fuel and rubber!

 

Some ricers are very cool. I needed "help" with an inspection sticker and One I rarely know set me up with another I'd never mt an they were both totaly cool. They hooked me up and they didn't have the "typical ricer Mentality.
