I'm comming home from HOOTERS last night in the 98.
I hit the EOE (two lane expressway) and I see this BMW (Dont know what model..ya, I know it makes a huge difference).
Anywhoo, It looks like some punk driving daddy's car. How did I know? The stupid turned around hat and the two LCD TV screens are on in the rear seat headrests with NOBODY ELSE IN THE CAR.
He's tryin to look all Ghetto, pimp, schnizt or whatever ebonic descriptor fits this month.
He's pulling away when I get near em. Welp we'll have none of that.
I slowly pulled next to em..pointed forward to race. I gave em the jump at about 80. I left his culture hijackin' wannabe azz buy 3 cars in just a few heartbeats. I pulled a few more just to drive home the point.
I start to shut it down cuz it was no contest.
As i'm on the brakes we are approaching an On Ramp with another car merging in. This IDIOT goes wide right to pass the other car while going over the shoulder!
This is one reason I dont like racing these idiots. If they can't hang, their attitudes manifest themselves into extremely stupid driving.
With traffic coming up..I just let em go.
He already had his azz handed to em, no reason to go and make him kill himself.
Two miles further up he gets off at the next exit.. As he's well off onto the ramp..He hits his hazards!
Un-freakin'-believable...

Good kill,he was pulled over trying to figure out how to tell his daddy how the $1000 wheel got bent.

 

(I should have added more detail on this part)...
When he swung right it was going outside AND AROUND THE CAR THAT WAS MERGING INTO TRAFFIC.
So.. It wasn't just a stupid manever...he prolly scared the p!ss out of that other driver.

Again, This is the reason (its happened a few times before) I dont like to race these 'punks' if there is any traffic.
If they can't hang, they'll do something stupid to try to get ahead of ya...
Its a game I'm not willing to play. I know and trust my driving skills... But NOT THEIRS.

yeah man well said. with people like that, all they want to do is win. and if they can't show their dominion through a race and be a good sport, then they'll try and catch your attention through some crazy display (i.e. driving erratically).

good to see there's mature people out there too. i too hate racing the "punk" kids who think they're invincible - that they just can't be hurt. little do they know you cannot defy the forces of nature for that long and still come out alive or untouched.

i'm like you: up for a good race, but it must be conducted in a mature and safe manner. if not, then it's off. there's no sense in endangering the lives of innocent people, yourself, the other guy, and even possible to damage to the car merely for an adrenahline rush.

I may not have a huge post count ... But I punched in 'South of Hell' nearly a year before you did..
