why you everyone should HUNT Evos. . .

Yeah the Sti is a nice car but I got my Evo for $30K out the door, an STi would have cost me $37K+ IMO its not even close to being worth $5-7K more than the Evo. I have raced several and have yet to lose to one.

The EVO has wider gear ratios that allow it to hit sixty and the quarter mile without having to pull a shift. The STI has a much closer ration that requires shifting at these points. That will screw with the times a bit. I have a great side by side comparison of the two cars from an old Road and Track. I wish I had a scanner to download it for you guys. That issue also had a great review of th GTO

as far as potential, the EVO owns all STi's and all WRX's hands down no questions asked.

Herm, in defence of the Evo (US version) life is more then a 1/4 mile.
Watching TopGear the Evo did EXTREAMLY well.

LS1 (of sorts) link

Top Gear is biased and has a bit of resenment toward American cars. Even though the new Z06 woops on more than 99% of the exotics in quarter mile time and road tests I am damn sure that they will find a way to make it look like a horrible car in their program.
