This kid i use to go to high school, always had an obsession with his Focus ZX3 ( 2001 ), and we always fought about cars. Anyways, he would always bash me because i loved muscle cars and this and that. So last night i went to this really popular ice cream place, where lots of people gather with cars as well. I pull up and i park and i see him and then the **** starts. He gets all cocky in front of his friends, and tells me that his CAI, catback focus can smoke my GTA from A DIG!! On top of all that, its automatic, with some evo body kit and dual exhaust, which he thinks makes his car sound like a V8 I really wasn't in the mood to race, but he was just begging. Now the people around there are getting excited so i agree. Funny thing is, the race took place right in front of everyone, since the street there is straight and a perfect 1/8 mile. We take off, i had a little traction issue (old tires), so he got a small jump and then i started to haul his *** so badly i think he let go by the end of the race till i got to the other stop sign. Then he's like ahh wait till i get this and that, and my friend's integra will smoke you and blablabla.

There was a kid in my youth group that tried pulling that crap on me. I quickly put him in his place. and now he reverts to the whole i got better gas mileage, so i can beat you in a long distance race........

We used to have a kid at my old school I called "Focus boy" he thought they were super fast stock and thought you could buy one with a V8 engine in it from a dealer.

it could be a factor, because they think there car is all new and stuff. I just attribute it to that most of them are morons, and this kid thought his focus was fast b/c it was yellow and it had Z-tec(what ever fords thing is)

Next time he wants to race, once you line up, get out of the car and walk to the back as if your gonna push the thing. Tell him you thought you'd be nice and give him an advantage.

i've met a lot of **** talking focus owners. And nothing was better than the look on there face when i spanked them with my Taurus SHO. especially when i had 3 people in my car so they could all flip off the focus/integra owners.

Funny how the Ricers are. A buddy of mine who owns an '04 Cobra happens to own the fastest (to date) SVT Focus as well. It made 469 FWHP before he had the engine redone. He's expecting to get 536 outta this one. Crazy freakin' numbers and I can't remember his best times. Definately NOT what you'd expect from a Foci. I know , I know, ya can polish a turd etc. etc.. I just thought it was pretty cool. Nice kill on the smartass BTW.
