It seems like a good majority of LS1 owners always make excuses when an LT1 beats an LS1. A stock LS1 vs a bolt-on LT1...the LT1 would win. LS1s are fast, but they aren't that fast...i'm not even that far behind them in my L98(with mods)..

Unless your car is doing it--------who cares? **** we have freakin Honda's that can beat LT1's and LS1's and even SC Cobra's. To me you posting all these stories is just like the trolls from the Honda Forums that finally get a video of one of them smoking one of are American Cars. Get over it dude. I hate it when people post other peoples kills when they werent even there! I like Lt1's Use to own one, no reason for anybody to be a LS1 hater. Cocky owners are everywhere.

Yea but the point is he's not bashing the LS1's, just taking pride in the LT1, after all, were all car enthousiasts.

 

I take pride in my cars, I am sure there are a ton of 70 440 GTX's in the world that could hand a very well built LS1 its ***, but I dont search the internet finding post about how some other guys car runs and post it up.
1- its not my car.
2- Mine most likely will never beat a well modded LS1
3- He is lookin like a Honda Forum member.
I loved my LT1 and I love my LS1 now, both are great cars. It just gets on my nerves when someone post someone else kills when they never EVEN there or even met the person who won the race, damn Post your own damn Kills.

 

Depends on the cars. A bolt-on A4 LT1 on stock stall might still have a hard time with a stronger 01/02 M6 LS1 car. And you do realise that in parts vendors infinate wisdom they decided to make and sell LS1 performance parts right? Here is a news flash in case some of you havn't heard.

Most people who will race have at least some bolt-ons. In the case of LS1's a lid and catback are almost a given in any racing situation. That means your not looking to compete with 300 rwhp LS1's anymore. Now it's 315 rwhp LS1's, 330 if it has LT headers, 350+ if it has a cam, 400+ if it has heads and cam, 500+ if it has spray on top of that, 600+ if......well I think you get the point.

Flexnutz must have had a bad day with a LS1 recently because he's gone out of his way doing searches and linking LT1 over LS1 kills that are not his. Some of which are old and some of which are not even believable. Stock for stock the LS1 wins. Mod for mod the LS1 usually wins. It's not personal, it's just a fact. Deal with it and lets move on.

Well, I got the responses I expected. Now its time to mod the LT1 and post my LS1 kills. Even if I had 420 rwhp you guys would think a bolt-on LS1 would have to make a mistake to lose. Oh well, **** rolls down hill. I went over to the Corvette forums for awhile and they have the same attitudes toward f-bodies in general as you guys do toward LT1 f-bodies, lol. And I haven't had bad experiences racing LS1s, I've always been within a couple cars and not the bus lengths that are so talked about on this site. Nobody believes me though and that is what pisses me off. Here is something that you won't believe:

In 2002, before I wrecked my car, I raced a '01 WS6 M6 and he was stock, had a passenger and his t-tops were off.
I had the stock cat-back cut off from the axle back, the MTI CAI in my sig, TB bypass, 160* t-stat and a homemade ram air scoop in front of the air filter next to the air dam. I also had a passenger and my t-tops were off.
We raced 5 times from a 30 MPH roll to around 100 and he had 1.5 cars on me at the most. I doubt you guys believe it but it happened and I don't consider 1.5 cars to 100 MPH to be a complete slaughtering. Hell, we were side by side until 80 MPH.

 

I smoked a 98+ WS6 when I had my A4 96 WS6, I won cause the guy didnt know how to drive a stick which proves-------Nothing. Alot of us have LT1's or had LT1's, everyone said they are great cars, they liked them and what not. Your the one with the attitude, like you got "Short guy syndrome" or "***** Envy" Would you like me to post stories of some Classic street machines tearing LS1 or LT1's in your case new holes? All that would prove is well NOTHING, just like your post have proven. All brands of cars have cocky owners. You have proven to me your the cocky LT1 owner.
