well if I were you I'd start practicing my launch techniques, so you don't blow those slicks off. You may have to run em at 10 psi. if you haven't done a wolf sway bar or added hal's now's the time to do it.

Oh, I've seen 'em down in Phx and out at Nellis. Even brake standing, they cover 1320 to slow to run with his car. After that? A whole different story...

i shoul rephrase my signature, this kit started off as an STS, then I decided to go bigger turbo, so I had friend fab up some piping, and wound up putting the turbo up front in the engine bay, I figured with methanol,an intercooler, and running 110 octane detonation and heat werent going to be an issue, and so far Im right..my biggest problem is traction, i have to pedal this beast on the street sometimes. and driving in the rain, fukin forget about it, tried that once..And to the guys with the F16 comments, thats just funny, and true, but boy you should hear this thing when it start up and when i start getting into it, i think i might take off sometimes.

think of it this way - the first gen GT40's have to be similar (if not slower) than the new GT (i don't see why ford would bring back a nameplate like that and make it slower, unlike a certain general i know). SOOooo the GT is putting down about 500hp advertised at around 3000lbs give or take. You have DOUBLE that hp with a few hundred bouts more. Unless you sheer the lugnuts off your wheels, or forget to shift, you won't have a problem in a straight line race.
And PLEASE GET IT ON VIDEO

Make sure you post up in this thread when you have that video, or ANY video of your car for that matter. Seriously man, you never should have had any doubts at all. That fool thinks his **** stands a chance, hell he may even think he's going to win. Your going to suck the eyes out of his head.

lol, change the name to the thread from blown to turbo by the way.. you are not blown in any aspect...
You should definately take him out.. and YOu should be making over a 1000 to the ground..
just had a 408 built for a customer.. -30cc custom cut wiseco's, 225 AFR's taken to 238cc's flowing 345 cfm, fast intake, etc.. and stg 3 hp turo kit (twin 67mm's)
hopefully to see about 1200 to 1300 rwhp with easy after a nice tune, some c-16 and BOOOST![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
very bad *** car.. and if this GT-40 is stock or like it was back in the le-mans racing series.. you should have no problem kicking the **** out of him
