sts turbo camaro vs 93 vortech mustang cobra I have a 99 camaro with a sts turbo kit makes little over 500rwhp just finished my friends 93 mustang cobra with trickflow heads and vortech v1 with 9# of boost he has full exaust long tubes gears[373] etc.I think hes making 400rwhp if he lucky but his car is lighter but Im running dr radals hes not both sticks were going to race this weekend who do you think will win.
I think I will kill him what do you think.

Kind of a silly/obvious question. I say barring some unforseen disaster or an act of god you will rape him like a drunk Olsen twin at a frat party. Have fun, and post vids if at all possible. The race, not the Olsen twin thing.

Well, being he is way lighter and a fox can hook Great, a dig would be his only chance, but since he isn't on a slick, he is in big trouble. Either way, I think u have no problem, but a roll for him is going to be murder and w/ out slicks, what other option does he have?

I made 433 rwhp on stock heads with an S-Trim no tune. There are guys that make an easy 500 rwhp with that combo. The TFS heads and long-tubes are what are making that car have a chance. What cam is he running by chance?
I would say if he knows his **** and knows all the tricks for a having a good running blown 5.0L then you might just have a good race on your hands.

just to let everyone know we raced over the weekend and i killed him
he pulled on me off the start for a bout one sec than it was murder after that did about a 1/4 mile got him by about 10 cars.now he wants to up the boost and try again.we did a few second gear rolls with same outcome.his car does go good should run mid 12s but mine should run mid11s

dont forget this is a 93 cobra not a 2003 and the stock cobra motor was just a 302 with some boltons nothing great.and no it wont make 450 my bet is 375-390 at the wheels.hes using stock cam right now think its hurting him a little .

deep into the 11s ya right this is a full stock weight car no suspension mods whats your car weight 2500lbs thats a little different.and the stock cam is a ok blower cam.I built a 95 procharged mustang before with 13 psi and we picked up 85 hp going to fms f cam from stock.dont forget whats the sence of putting better flowing heads on a motor if your not going to open the valve enough to use the bigger valves.

Nice! About what I would expect
An LS1 with a turbo is just awesome IMO, that Mustang had no chance.
