you can make anything fast with enough $. good kill, i want some videos of this s2k! i respect anything that is fast- but everybody please understand that this is ONE of the only s2k's that can do things like this. few and far between.

 

for the record, stock ls1's are faster than s2000's, and not much faster if any than lt1's....respect??? break into the 10s, the 9s, the 8s. BTW not saying your car isnt fast, just s2000's in general are only decently quick and you could buy a nice lt1 for a lot cheaper to go just as fast

I personally like s2ks. I think they are sexy cars and can be made very quick. They are overpriced through IMO, but if money wasn't an issue I probably would own one.

 

Pay no attention to the likes of Camaroz, most of the people on this site can appreciate a good running car, no matter what it is.

rwd, 2.4l I4 i believe (maybe 2.2l?). 9500rpm redline- torqueless wonder! like all hondas however, makes top end hp when in v-tec. pretty light car, handles like a racecar from what i've heard.

When my car was stock I ran a 14.0 @ 99. I raced many Camaroz and trans am. I never lost unless we went up to a high MPH.

The 2000-2003 s2k had a 2.0ltr motor that would redline at 9200.
The 04-05 have a 2.2ltr with a 8200 0r 8700 red line.
Both made 240hp at the crank, around 200-205 rwhp

98supersport, Most s2k are slow as ****. The SC ones are ok. Most of the turbo ones are for show and only put down 300-400rwhp.

sleeperstyle is right, there are 20-30 fast turbo s2k in the US

There are about 5 of them that I know of that are as fast as mine but they are a pain in the ***. I worked on my car for 4 hours 2day and still didnt get **** done. Like the C6 guy said " It takes all imports a hour to get ready for a race" Its true, I hade to turn up the boost, check the boost, fix the BOV, check that, Put C16 in it... U see what Im getting at. I know its way more easy to go with a ls1 but we all know they can be fast with bolt ons. When u have 400rwhp and a s2k pulls up and wants to run you will do it because you think you will kill it. Thats why I like my car, people dont think they are fast. SOOOO they will lose they $ And hate life after that

 

damn, i was way off on the engine specs and redline . i have yet to run into a turbo'd one, but the sc'd ones are decent from a roll, no chance at any 12.X sec car from a stop because of the gearing and powerband of the s2k.

post up the timeslip when you hit 10's- you'll get your "10 second club" user status and i doubt anybody will have anything to say to you then.

 

My friend with a S/C s2k ran a 12.7 thats not bad. SOOOOOO, If I post up a 10 sec time slip it will say 10 sec club? If so that will be great

 

Ya S2k's are one of the very few exceptions to the honda's suck rule. The newest ones look ****** hawt from the factory. The HID lights and the body kits. Definatly nice. The only S2K I dont liek the is FF one. Pink looks like **** on any car. And teh 50% FF graphics to paint rule also blows. GL on 10's man

I happen to love S2K'S and would own one if I could fit in one (6'2" 250lb . . . no . . . NOT fat ).

IF I had Shaq's money I'd have one custom made for me and drop a set-up similar to BLACKTURBOS2K but a tad more boost

Let me be the first to say I dislike S2000s, I think they are ugly and way overpriced for what you get. As stated already torqueless wonders. If you never lost to an LS1 running 14.0 @ 99 mph then you were asleep when it was happeneing, what a joke. Ill also say that a cammed and sprayed C6 should have taken you. I am also not impressed at all with a fully built motor running 25 pounds of boost only making 424 rwhp, that is a joke IMO.

 

Well if you would LOOK at what I said then you would not have said I made 424rwhp on 25lbs. I made 430 with 14lbs and around 550rwhp with 22-24. Dont get ***** hurt. just because you dont like s2k, I dont like your car but Im not a dick about it. Im sooooo glad that there are people like you around so I can make my $ back. So, you have a V8 and it ONLY runs 11? Im not impressed at all with that.

I do belive that the s2k is somewhat over priced also. BUT you do get what u pay for. A damn 4cyl only makes 45 less hp the some of the older Z28 and makes 20 more hp the a 4.6lt stang. Dont be a hater, we are all here to have fun. 2 bad u are not close, then we could run and make a vid of it so we all know I was not BSing

 

424whp for a 2700lbs is more than enough! He's already in low 11s and shoting for 10s, that's not impressive enough???
