good friend of mine has a 2001 WS6 w/ the basic mods - Hooker LT, open y pipe, 4.10's, lid, ported throttle body, Z06 clutch, 245/50 BFG DR, NX 75hp shot, NGK plugs. we went to school together (Universal Tech Institute in Houston). he didn't put the spray on until after he graduated. he made the trip out here to GA, to spend some time in the country. N/A he could never mess w/ the '03 but w/ the bottle his confindence bulit up. We went to a back rode about 1.5 mile long, by the landfill. I did the 3 honks on the first run and i left the line hard about 3800rpm. i had him by about a car and a half and running, when i ripped second here he came. he got his nose by my door handle but could not catch me. second run, he did the 3 honks and he jumped good, by the top of second i was rolling past. i powershifted third and the lead kept on growing. i'm not sure what gear he sprayed in but by the time he sprayed i was picking him up in my side mirror. score two for FORD. third run was on a 40mph roll, i was in second, about 4800rpm, he honked and we took off. i edged him out by about a fender and shifted third, in third i started pulling away something serious and he gassed it. he caught up and returned the favor, now i was a full fender behind and running. when i ripped 4th it had to be the awesome torque curve of the eaton b/c i pulled him barely by a head light. not sure what the trans am runs, but it is a strong car.

Post up your time slip and that should remove any doubts.

working on it now. but u mean to tell me that a bad short time and a good amount of wheelspin off the line doesn't play a part in a high trap speed? that car normally sees mid/low 1.60 short times, that day i couldn't get low then a 1.76. that and i ran the BFG's w/ 30psi. but like i said, working on posting the time slip.

It's hard to believe by the mods you have listed...which are basically a pulley, denso plugs, DR's, clutch and the 95mm mass air/ inlet tube.

I trapped 122 through the stock catback, 2.76 pulley, o/r xpipe, intake, and a pretty extreme tune on race gas (full weight)....at Atco on a cool night with insane DA.

I haven't seen ANY 2.93 ONLY cars trap anywhere near 124 at full weight on stock exhaust/stock tune (about 20-21* timing).

1.76 isn't bad 60'....the difference in mph compared to a 1.6 is about 1mph, IF ANY.

8 second timeslips? the car runs hard. it ran what it ran and i had two witness for the night, both of whom drive 03 cobra themselve. take it or leave, not gonna argue with you. previous best et was 11.92 @ 119 mph w/ the best short time of 1.64. i couldn't get the car to hook that night, no matter how i adjusted my launch rpm it spun. i did bet my previous best et but the short times were not as good that night. take for what it is

Add the boost pressure you are running in your mod's. description. It is not clear that the car is supercharged. I think that is the problem. There is a guy @ our track w/ a 15 psi pulley running 11.9's. So, your claims are believable. As I said, post the amount of boost you are making & that may help to clear things up; maybe.

11.7 is believeable, it's the traps that are rediculous. 2.93 is about 12#'s of boost.

2.93" is over 13lbs boost. anything you do before the supercharger increase boost ( i.e. cold air kit, mass air), anything after (i.e. exhaust) decrease boost. being that the car has stock exhaust, the is more restriction and could led to slightly higher boost levels. and when did you become an 03 cobra professional?

i will admit, i didn't build the '93, it was my dad's and he gave it to me for my 20 birthday. the '03 cobra he bought brand new for me june '02. it was an early model car w/ several factory F*** ups. the car has 46,000 miles on it and it is #261 of 319 zinc yellow convertibles and is registered on the yellow mustang registry.
