The superior low end power (and top end power according to your post) of your LT1 should have no problem whatsoever taking my inferior LS1 in the 1/8th mile, right???

Mods to my car: Converter, 3.90's and tires. No power enhancing mods.

Let me know if you're going to make it so I'll be sure to get up with you.

What kind of times you layin down?

With the temps in the 60's this Friday night I'm hoping for some 7.7's in the 1/8th or if I'm really lucky a high 7.6. The car has been 7.8's in the heat. I was getting some headers installed but I called them and told them to wait until after this Friday night as I want to see what my stock motor'd car will do in better air before modding the motor.

I sold my Lt1 for my Ls1.

I loved the LT1 but stock for stock the Ls1
had almost a second in the 1/4 mile on the LT1
at the same track.

1 0f 500 T/A guy I dom't think you read my threads at all.

I compaired the advantage of the intake design to the intake design on the LS1 big difference.

Everyone knows the LTX intakes do nothing. Wich is why guys who are running in the 10's usually dicth them all together. Take a look at Joe overtons setup for example.

how you get air to the heads is everything, and the LS1's already have a more advanced setup in that department. I've stated that numerous of times.

See as that I'm more modded than You I no longer wish to argue with you... you are beneath me.

The End.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

To the guy who said the gap was 50 and not 25... thank you I already corrected myself earlier in the post.

------------------------------------------------------------------

To the guy who want me to come to NC to beat him.... hell come to Va.

what are my cars actual specs?

Don't worry about it... enough to keep you behind me.

looks like heatpollssmoker needs to do some more research on LT1 vs LS1 on RWHP numbers, damn his numbers are way way off. I have owned an LT1, great motor accept for the opti crap but i would never go back just do to the fact that I get more power from the LS1, I mean damn I beat a LT1 on spray when I was a bolt on car!!! I also pulled a SC 97 Z28 on the highway when I was a bolt on car, I hope it was a Powerdyne car cause that is just SAD. Where all on the same side and U have to pull the LT1 vs LS1 crap. I'd rather read a 5.0 vs LS1 then this guys garbage, story doesnt even add up.

Were not on the same side.... our cars just happen tp have the same name.

Just from this thread alone my blood pressure has raised. To believe most of you think the LT1 is an inferior motor because it came will less hp from the factory.

And the fact that most of you have less mods than me.. and think you can beat me.... where not on the same side this is a Civil war and it always has been.

LT1 Vs. LS1 Shootout.... someone go find me the results from that battle.

Here's the truth...

I have quite a bit invested in my car... that's all I will say.

I didn't need to go full on to defeat the ls1. Which is why I shifted early. I can never go full power on the street.

I dont think its an inferior motor, but I believe your intelligence is. I have seen 383 LT1's only dyno what a cam only LS1 will. It just takes more work (power wise) to make a LT1 a super storng runner. Cam only vs Cam Only and LS1 will make more power. Like Lt1 hotcam motor vs an LS1 hotcam motor, same lift cam size the LS1 will make more power with it.
