got bored
got bored Just got off of work and I was driving on the freeway saw a 350z past buy me fast.I began to give chase and i get close to him and try to line up.He speeds up.i hate when people do that they initiate it but dont want to line up.I hate cat and mouse.Suddenly some BMW(dont know model)darts past me.Im pist.Icatch up and slow down at 80.Hes about A car in front of me he hits it and i do the same.It was a quick race from 80 to 120.I slowed down when I knew I past him.The thing is it felt like a eternity passing by him.I thought 2.73 gears are good for top highway runs.It wasnt a M3 It look more like a m5 the car looked big.after that the 350z was cutting in and out of traffic trying to avoid me or loose me.Sometimes I feel I should of got a stick but I like autos with stalls.How much is it to change gears If its more than 500 I rather just save for a head and cam package.But I think I need a tune or something sometimes I feel that my car is fast and sometimes I think something is wrong with it.
ok, 2.73 gears suck no if ands or buts about it, the price varies depending on who you get to change your gears, probably around the 2 - 300 $$ range...im just guessing now, but you would wana go with 3.73 on an a4.. I see you have a shift kit but what kind of stall do you have??

You will need to change your carrier out to upgrade to a series II carier in the rear end as well as pay for new gears and a tune to re-set your 4L60E's shift points. It should run you about 400 for gears/installation and 200+ for the carrier + a tune. Not sure on the prices but am sure on the stuff needed. I had looked into it for my 95 TA. Sold the car instead.
