The cobra should take them by a pretty good margin. My stock Cobra was putting out around 425 from the flywheel or about 365 rwhp. This of course assumes equal drivers.

Ya know I had something similar happen to me just the other day. I had the wife and kid in the car, went to Clarksville TN for the afternoon. When coming up to Fort Campbell, I noticed a mustang GT(I think, it might have been a Mach, but I am not sure) Had exhaust, Tint, stock wheels. When stiing next to the person, I was just looking. I didnt throw a rev, but just lookin and talking to the wife. He wasnt throwing revs or nothing. So I just kept on truckin, and then the next thign I know I get the ricer fly buy and he turn off onto Fort Campbell Gate 3...WTF?? I wouldn't race with the kid in the car, and hardly ever do anythign with my wife unless she is down....for racing that is....LMAO

Just kinda thinking if he thought that he made me look bad or something.....LMAO

 

Ok,along time ago. i saw a Mach 1 with some "suit" driving and a hot woman riding shotgun up front at the light. Dude does a little fish tail turning so i figured he was having fun i might as well have fun too.

i caught up to him and when even ,he would not even look over at all.
So i paced him for about 2 blocks. then she points to me and he starts smiling and laughing (leaned over and said something to her) then starts to throw a few revs.

Well his bad luck because i had the bottle open(Thanks N/X opener) and the system armed waiting to see...

I nodded and gave him a chance to get a good jump.He took the chance and at about 1 car ahead i dropped the pedal and reeled him in and pulled about 2-3 cars on him from a 35 mph roll up to about 70ish.
He dropped that smirk real quick and did not look over again after i passed him and tagged the brakes (35 mph zone).
I knew i would not lose if he raced,i was just basically picking on him and his (Sharp) New Mach 1 in front of that sweet looking seat cover he had with him.
i guess he was not listening to the big stall slipping away in my SS and by the time he heard the full tone of my Lt's and Borla it was all over for him.

Gotta love the bite of 315/35/17 Nitto's with a 4000 stall and a 150 wet shot to boot.

so i guess he could start his own thread about COCKY Camaro guys!

The idiots are not just stangs its in every car brand.
Ive found MANY f body,gto and vette owners that are very cool.But ive also met some real idiots in those brands too.

 

Im not around atl all that much but out here in douglasville, mostly HS kids have higgins stickers and and nothing to back it up. There are a few charged GTs and saleens around here that are puttin out some sick power but i can never run into em. I do have one question though, why did you go from a solid rear axle to IRS? Im diggin that thing to, real sleeper i bet, atleast until that KB whines

 

Ride quality.I already been down the spooled drag racing thing.It gets old.I DD mine so i want ride quality..Dont worry its about as moddied as it can get .

She was really a sleeper when it had 621rwhp on the vortech combo.Stock hood and all..The 4" cowl hood,IRS and Kb whine kinda give that away now..
But NO one even thinks its really got the power i tell them..All they see is a little GT..

 

My buddy has a 98 cobra convertible. hes got the intake pipe, K&N, some huge *** accufab TB, jet chip, pullies, off road X, borla catback, 4.10s etc etc. My car listed in sig below. Rape him every time, whether it be from a dig or roll, lol!! i got the video on my computer, ill post it on here soon. and the video is when i lost 4th gear in the m6!!!

 

The guy with the 98 cobra has a lot of pointless mods, AKA, not big power makes. He is still prolly around 280 rwhp in a 3700# car.
