Well this guy i know has a stock 2004 viper. By the end of december i will have full bolt ons. Just no head and cam. I also have 4.10s, sub frame connectors, lower controll arms, panhard rod, 315 nitto drags. The only tune work i will have is a hypertech power programmer. From a dig do you guys think i will hang or even be close with him because if not i wont even challenge him. I would like to run him and have it be close or just barley loose just to surprise him. Any imput welcome?

PS. The Viper's are hard to launch if you cant drive. So I hear.

 

even with a shitty launch, he'll still get you.

 

They trap around 120+...I think Bigman is right, he's got you.

 

you would need to put down over 415rwhp to have a chance, the vipers put down 430-440rwhp. your car with bolt ons will be around 350-370rwhp

 

i think he will still get me also but how close do you think it will be prob from like a 0 to 70 run or maybe a lil more. I dont really expect to win just keep up pretty close with him maybe a car or less.

 

hes a pretty good driver he has a 9 sec monte carlo that he races plus a few other nice cars so im sure he will semi ok on the launch i just figured with the drags and 4.10s id be out ahead for a little bit. and maybe hang with him

I think with DR's and 4.10s you got a good chance to stay with him until 60-70 and then he'll start reeling on you.

 

Depends on his tires, but they make MAD low end torque, its a 8.3L beast...gears or not, he has GRUNT!

 

They 0-60 in the 3's as i recall.

 

if he can get all that power to the ground then you not going to win, if he can't drive then you got a chance.

 

hes bone stock i think the stock tires are michaln pilot sprots or how ever you spell it. He still has teh stock paper air filter.

 

the tires on those are 300+ series. They are rather large...not much of a handicap at all.

 

I don't see your setup capable of trapping 112mph, let alone 121mph.
You can get him from a dig for a bit less than an 1/8th mile assuming he can't launch.
