Also I know the pump is primed. I turned it on and off several times then let it run for a while. Now what I did do to make sure I didnt burn the rubber off was turn the system off. I would take it through the gears and mash it at 2500 rpm. When 3000 hit I would activate the gas. Do you loose line preasure maybe?

Might want to gap the plugs a little smaller than that, I wouldnt go above .38.

As far as the lean spike I see the problem. What you have to do is when you know your going to spray it, dyno it or race it or go cruise and maybe spray it, turn the system on with the bottle closed and the car off. Tap the gas once to add fuel to the line AFTER the pump going up to the nozzle. The lean spike is from there being no fuel there and compressed gas at 1000 psi moves faster through the lines than a liquid at only 10 psi.

Also make sure you have 10 psi under load but shouldnt be a problem if you havent messed with the regulator.

Whenever I would go out looking to hurt peoples feelings I would sit in the and turn the system on, tap the throttle, turn the system off, start the car and then open the bottle. That way the line between the nozzle and the pump has fuel in it and will hit as soon as you open the noids to spray it. Dont know if there is a fix for this but its a common thing on stand alone fuels systems.

ahh I see! I was also told that lean spike causes power loss. Do you believe that could be a part of the missing power?

Well one thing you have to remember is now your running a power robbing rear end. You wont dyno as much now that you have that rear in but its possible that the lean spike was causing a small issue in the overall power. It shouldnt be much because your maximum power is way later in the rpms.

The 12 bolt easily makes up for the loss it brings with being able to pull the front wheels. You launched it on spray yet??

LOL, i just realized on this last page that you bought the car from him...i thought maybe you were just buddies who both owned 408/6-speeds....lol.

Sweet ride, I'd love to see it in person some time, or at least a video.

Also, not to get nosy, but I'm just curious what kind/size of wheel/tire combo you were running when you raced the yellow 03 cobra. Thanks

I had the Weld's draglites on. Front runners, and 15" by 11.5 by 26. On 20 PSI in the rear tires.

I now ride with my camera. The only thing is to have the buddy there when I do it. LOL. After the Cobra race I have had plenty of volunteers.

Sounds like the clutch was slipping pretty good in that vid. That's a lot of
torque to hold when on the nitrous. What clutch is in the car? Twin disk?

Actually it was wheel spin, watch the speedometer when the revs shoot up.

I tried, but couldn't. My computer doesn't handle video too well so the
audio/video is off. I need to pickup a new one.

That's how my car sounded when the clutch was going. I sprayed and
the clutch just couldn't hold it.
