takes some skill getting one to run to it's potential.
I question the nitrous/street tire thing. Been there, done that. However, I
can believe the outcome of the race. A few seconds of spinning and it's
lights out.

i dont understand wut is so hard to believe..i have admitted to spinning...but as i said my car just bites real hard for sum reason...we both had traction problems..but the cobra just had it alot worse...i mean from a 20mph roll of course when i hit the spray on street tires im gonna have traction issues...anyone that has ever tried it is gonna know that...but if it is very possible to do it...and also its kinda hard to restart the race when i loook back and hes that far back and then he wont roll down the window like a bitch..i waited through 2 stop lights to see if he wanted sum more of the pontiac and he obviously knew it was gna be a different story with the same ending

I own a KB Cobra and I've owned a nitrous LS1. I know how both
behave.

well i dont think i got lucky..i think wit dr's on both cars and going from a dead dig it woulda been the same outcome as far as 1/8 and 1/4 mile...but top end i know those kenne bells are insane...ive never raced one top end so i dunno....but with my setup from a dead dig i think id still get the "V"

lol...i disagree...i seen a 700 rwhp KB run a 7.47 on DR's beacause those cars even with a good tires are still a bitch to hook up...ive never dynoed my ws6 on this setup cuz i dont care how much hp it puts down as long as it runs like it should...but my best time is 7.27

There are alot of 500+ hp cobras around here and just about every one of them are in the 11`s. Heads up on good tires i think you would have gotten the V also. Everyone is quick to point out a friend of a friend that had a bigger blower , pulleys, long tubes that went 10`s at the track but I never run into em. On the street most want the race from 70+mph.

i agree with unit213... 03/04 cobras with just bolt ons and a pulley and tune can put down 470 rwhp.... so a bolt/on kenne bell pushing decent boost(4 valve cobra motors forged internals from the factory) if able to hook up would be sick... yeah they are known for not hooking but im cam only and i blow the street tires off at 50... good kill but him on d/r's driving right would be sick...

My car used to have a stock block with a 150 shot in it ... both cars on slicks, and that cobra is giving you a hard time.
Plus, I tend to agree with unit ... maybe your 150 shot hooks so well on street tires because something is wrong. 150 shot kicking in is a HUGE deal. Is your car tuned for the juice? I would say you might possibly be running rich, which would soften the "hit".
Also, I would give you a close race ... but an outcome of 10+ cars by 90mph .... no way.
