Plus, I tend to agree with unit ... maybe your 150 shot hooks so well on street tires because something is wrong. 150 shot kicking in is a HUGE deal. Is your car tuned for the juice? I would say you might possibly be running rich, which would soften the "hit".

Also, I would give you a close race ... but an outcome of 10+ cars by 90mph .... no way.
I don't have a 150 shot, and I have trouble hooking at 45 on street tires.

My favorite part is still the COCKY driver that could not drive!
I had a 03 Cobra come into the Ford dealership i worked at witha plate that reads "ITFLYS". i asked about the car and was shown a dyno sheet that read 470 HP i forget the torque,so i asked about times at the track and with drag radials his best was 12.8's @ 118. I tried really hard not to laugh at the guy.
I just gave him props on his Sonic blue Cobra and left it alone.

Not the same thing as this A-hole making himself look bad,but in a (small) way it was close because he was real confident about him taking my SS.
Even after i told him about the convertor/Headers?nitto's and Nitrous.

Maybe i should have raced him
The big difference being he was NOT running a KB.

A low-boost KB/Whipple car on DR's will cover that with ease, and with an A4, up top you're going to get walked.
But the street is the great equalizer, and anything can happen.
Good kill.

for like then 10th time i didnt hook worth a damn either....but he had a shitload more issues than i did....my car is tuned right and its tuned for nitrous...the bottle was only heated to about 850 so it wasn the full shot...but it was damn close...and i said he was 10 cars back when i looked back..he coulda let off alot sooner...i didnt say i pulled him by 10 cars...i know i would get walked top end....those KB's are crazy top end...but we went low end and i hooked better and pulled harder....you ppl can doubt it all you want...im done with this...just thought everyone would like to hear about my kill...not run their mouths

i would be worried about a car on ET streets running on the street. LOL

a KB car can be 600-650rwhp. its gonna take a well driven 500-550rwhp Ls1 to beat one.

Nice kill, the KB guy has no excuse, even if he had no traction, you gave him 2 opportunities at lights to redeem himself and he turned them both down, good job.

I enjoyed the story man. Made me laugh in fact. Great kill! People can 'if this, if that' all day long. You still won. Congrats on shutting the guy up!
