Default Had to take neighbors Porsche down again Long story

My neighbor was out running his mouth again friday evening. Back around thanks given he bought this 911 turbo, agaervated the hell out of me till i slapped him around.
Yesterday He was out in the drive washing it up, when I cam home. I pull in my garage and shut down when I come out he is revving the hell out of it.
I'm thinking.dumbass you just got it back from the shop from 2 weeks of down time. When he let off I hear his blow off.that's new?
He come over bragging he just got a new garret turbo intercoolers and full exhaust and how this time he will put my Dinosaur in line.
I'm getting sick of this dino ****. I'm just like whatever don't you have some lint to pick out of your seat? I have things to do i just got home.

We go back to idle chit chat then he leaves. I'm in the house just got out of the shower I hear this whinning rev, a lite bark whoosh bark and wooooosh again WTF? I look out the window they he goes up the street, car never sounded like that before. As he comes back to his house i see diffent wheels than eairler. So I have to know, get dressed and go over. He has black powder coated wheels from a 996 with Nitto drags.
The race is on he tells me " see this ? this is a AWD dinosaur killer"

We go out same as before dead stop I melt them up (Comp T/A DR) he does the same 3 beeps. He pulls out about 5' ahead of me till 20mph then i pull around hit the first stage at 35 and pull out 1 car to 70, then shut it down (Tractor pulled out). He was alot closer than before but my bottle isn't fully warmed 950psi. Second go 40 mph 3 beeps I pull back to first arm second stage first one off. Dead hook on both sides neck and neck till 60 I pull up hit the first stage and pull off 1 till 70 2 1/2@ 80 3 cars to 100.
His cockyness hasn't changed tells me I can't beat him with out the bottles.

We go back to my house pul the tanks I offered to let them ride in his car so I can't sneak them back in...........idiot he took them. i drop psi to 13 and back out we go. Line up dead stop i melt them till I can't see his car beside me. Three beeps I stall to 3800 he's revving and go. i pull out a 3' jump and hold till about 35 he shifts and falls to my rear tire. Run on out to 70 hes at my bumper and by 110 i have him by 25' or so, i can see his front in my rear view.

When I let off he kept going, don't know where the hell he went but he didn't come back till 11pm last night it was 530 when we were racing. i guess the Dino kicked his *** again.

Thats very sad on his part. You posted something like this about 6 months ago. You would think that instead of being defeated when weilding a ball peen hammer, he would return with more than a claw hammer. I, personally, would not say a word until I posessed the equivalent of a jackhammer in said equation. Good kill.

Sound's like you bruised the guy's ego. Now he'll probably up the boost, add a small shot off the line while his turbo's spooling up and come back for more. lol

Sounds like a fun rivalry, even if he is a bit cocky at the mouth.

Good kill, and make sure we hear about round 3 after his next upgrade.

What year? 996 turbos have bypass valves -- not blow-offs.

I'm sure he will have something else for me soon, and I will be sure to post it. If i had a digital video cam i could post it.
it's an 2006 911 Turbo With aftermarket turbo, intercooler. Not a 996 his Black drag wheels are 996 versions

There is no 2006 911 turbo -- and the last turbo to be made was the 996 turbo.

Stock they are capable of 12 flats at 116 plus. Most guys that go with a K16/24 hybrid and exhaust are pushing 550+ AWHP.

I have no idea what you mean. If it is the latest turbo it has 996 turbo wheels ... as it is a 996 turbo.

Unless you run 120+ traps I find the story hard to believe in the first place -- but then who knows. Bottled LS1's can be nasty fast with traction.

What part of he took off his factory wheels and runs powder coated black 996 wheels for drag do you not understand?

try a MS3 on a 114* patriot stage 3 heads 1 7/8" Supermaxx headers yank Ss 4000 Th400 and a ford 9 with 3.55 and a dual stage wet/ dry 225 to top it off mid 10's in excess of 132mph It gets the job done JR.

My stupid translator is broken. When you actually write what you mean and don't infer it people can understand.

Guy probably kept going right back to the dealer to complain about how slow his car is. Yup, legends die hard and the European ones die hardest. The bigger they are the harder they fall.
