Well to make a long story short I was a bit disappointed in my s10 yesterday at the track. The temp was 58 and sunny. I dont know why but my truck was bogging off the line horribly. First run I lined up with my bros GTO. I left the time slip in my truck but off hand I ran a 14.0 at 98 to his 13.9 at 102 but I beat him by 2 car lengths from the reaction time. 2 minutes later a really fast car plowed into the wall and closed the left lane of the track so my other passes were made solo. I ran a best of 13.8 at 99 with a 2.2 60ft. (severe bog on the start) and my bro made 2 other passes both being 14.0 at 102. I thought my truck was a bit faster than high 13s but oh well....I need to figure out the bogging problem and 4.10 gears will be replacing my 3.42s shortly. Stanger88...you should have been there to smoke me. No more racing til the gears are in. Later.

Dont know why it bogs but I never had a problem with mine off the line. I have stock gears in mine, I think and I also used bfgoodrich drag radials. The only problem I ever ran into is my fuel pump not being able to supply 3rd gear but fixed it with a holley 110 mechanical. Other than that it ran good.

Well, I have had some problems of the personal/family kind today and I really am just taking some self time right now. I'm sorry it was bogging man. You compared ok to the GTO though, imho. We will talk about a meet later.

My apologies for posting here. I just had an ongoing brotherly battle that was taking place in the street racing section that continued on the track so I thought I would post here. It wont happen again. Stanger88 I'm sorry to hear about the personal matters. I hope all is well.
