230hp TURBO MR2 vs. Nitrous Blazer Last night i met up w/ my friend w/ a turbo mr2 that has somewhere around 220 or 230 hp (dyno) and we decided to see how the blazer would hold up against him on ONLY a 50 shot- i had 3 people in my car including my self + 3900lbs dry GVW+ low bottle pressure (700psi) and it was still cutting in and out-
Run 1-
I launched on mr2 but he pulled back quick he had me bye about a fender all the way to 65- win for the MR2
Run2-
We launched together and then something happened i never found out but he quit so w/e- Win for the blazer but didnt really count
Run 3-
I had about half a car length on him off the launch and he started to pull slowly the nitrous was cutting in and out again (i gotta figure this **** out....) but at about 70 i was right on his back bumper and we shut it down- Win for the MR2
All in all i was very pleased with the results- and he was extremely surprized with the blazer- he thought that i would have to run a 100shot just to keep up with him- this week im getting an exhaust put on and im gonna through in the 75 shot jets w/ a bottle heater so the mr2 should be no problem from now on-
BTW- he wont race me w/ the 75 shot and exhaust b/c he doesnt want to look stupid by loosing to a blazer- i will get some vidoes hopefully tonight

I used to have a blazer, I've raced just about every car known to man in that bitch. It was a 94 with the multiport injected (high performace 
) vortec 4.3l.
It would rock all the s-10's in my area, and a suprising number of other cars too. I remember the good ole' days of a flat out drag race, winner/loser being figured out by/before 70mph. I had alot of good times in that thing. In memory of.... The Green Goblin

ya youve made your point bye 70 and if your the clear winner just shut her down- I plan a forged bottom end w/ high compression and big cam w/ 150 to 200 shot of nitrous- hopping for mid 11's
