dont post crap like this with out details.. its a waste. and no its not an urban legend... last time i checked a 4thgen camaro weighs in at 3500lbs.. the thirdgen was lighter.. so no they have NOT become lighter.. and infact the japanese cars are the ones that have become lighter and lighter.. so dont post crap you dont know about..
40 or so years ago we didnt have the suspensions that we have today.. thus making cars handle a lot better.. and if you take a 67-69 camaro and update their suspension, YES you CAN make a 40 year old car handle.. go do some homework..

it's called the z06 and watch any gt race.
I never understood why people like you who know very little about what they say talk about weight and handeling, when Japanese cars... the ones that make power... Supra, Skyline, ETC weigh just as much as our cars.
