Okay...I'm going to give a little background on the kid first. He's got a 96 GT and thinks he's king ****, he used to always try me when I had my V6 Camaro. So with that out of the way, let's get to the point. I pull up next to him on Bartow Highway at a red light that turns left, two lanes. I roll the window down and ask "What do ya got?" then he replies, "Intake & Exhaust." So I'm thinking, this is going to be great. All the while he is looking over at me with the most serious poo face, shifting his car while sitting still...(Practicing I guess) Then he says, "I'll go through 3rd."...I laugh a little and say "Okay." (Try to picture his poo face), So anyways, roll the window up because I can't stop laughing. Light turns green, we turn onto main road, go down about 1 1/2 - 2 miles...then he gets up next to me. Also, back when we raced with my V6 he left on the second honk and was already about a fender ahead of me...Remembering that, I let him do the honk this time...:honk:, :hon...Then I smashed it, went from about 45 to about 135 and I could barely see him. Slowed down, got next to me again...Gave him the jump, reeled in like an anemic tadpole on a harpoon gun. Then for the next 3-4 miles he wouldn't get up next to me. So to summarize...Douchbag talks ****, cheats, Chevy guy gets his revenge. Thanks, Tim.

Thats pretty pathetic of the guy, the 96-98 GT's were the slowest mustangs ford made in over 20 years of hte GT line...weak. Good kill and its a shame you didnt shut him up, but at least you put him in his place.

Yeah, it was just from roll. And I already knew that the 96's were the slowest ones. Don't think I'm knocking Fords or anything like that. I like all cars...I just found this one first. Later guys, Tim.

I had a 98 GT and it was a FREAK ...i got it was 28k 1 owner
I ran 8.73---1/8th mile with ORH-pipe mac pathflow mufflers,cold air 3.73...
then i got a throttle body and upper plenum, throttle body spacer and upper plenum spacer, plugs and wires..never ran it at the track but it ran good as FACK....some **** pulled out in front of me last march and drilled her goin 55..
But my GT ran good as Fack out ran TA's and Z's in it...i actually out ran the TA i own right now and it runs 13.4 1/4 stock.......the guy traded it in at a local lot about 3 weeks after i wreck my GT...so for some reason i got lucky and got a FREAK GT and a FREAK TA

I have heard of a freak GT that my boss saw at another dealership, it was 04 with the auto tranny and he said it was sticker new, but would smoke the tires like a ****, said it was the strongest one he had felt, who knows
