Default Sl600 KILL

Hi yall.. not sure what year it was.. long story short i had to drive my LS1 to atlanta airport (dam truck messed up) ..so i get into traffic and about the time it breaks here comes this SL600 mercades. V12 so at first i dropped into 4th to let him know i was game.. he looked over at .me had to be 60 ish easy .. smiled and dropped the hammer ... i shifted into 3rd and ran up next to him and put him a car back ny 4th gear.. and put a car on him..by this time we had to let off.. he tried to get me to run again.. which i had no problem with because by now the was a GT3000 next to us.. but traffic got thick .. and i dont need to run in traffic .. by this time i guess he hit him exit and got off the freeway.. but I'LL BET HE DONT TAKE THE NEXT F-BODY LIGHTLY!!!

here's a pic of the car .. not sure what year but i did see the v12 right before i put a car on him

I think you have to wait for a mod to do it. Nice kill, I guess the old V12s don't have much power, but a kills a kill... and it's still a V12. Sounds impressive enough.

Still, 6L and 4 more cylinders and OHC heads, thats a impressive mach up between two near stock cars. Just goes to show how far OHV tech has come thanks to GM.

the pre supercharged roadsters from MB were pretty slow. My friend's dad has a 1998 SL600 Roadster with a v12. I believe it puts out somewhere close to 400 hp and maybe a little less tq. Being those things weigh over 4200lbs they're not very fast. Great Highway cars (perfect for the autobahn (sp)) but nothing compared to what the new ones are.

yeah, its still a v-12, but its not a performance v-12. its essentially a status engine. something above the sl500, so they can charge more. lol. anyway. those things are a nightmare to work on, they have two seperate engine control modules, two mass air flow sensors etc etc. imagine half your engine running like a race car, and the other half running like a geo... either way. good kill.
