Given the choice I'd have an SRT8 GC anyday. But if I was buying I'd get the TB SS because of the sheer bang/buck. it's about $8,000 cheaper.

IMO GM has made the best bang/buck V8s for the last decade... and more.

The wife has a 06TBSS and swears she is going to make it faster than my SS.
Only time will tell.
It is a very nice truck though,i might be alittle biased though!
AWD and the LS2 work well together.
i want to throw a 3500 stall in it and a nice turbo set-up and can't till the warranty expires.

She wants to get it tuned and start with exhaust work and a CAI.

I think personally the Camaro should finally get tuned before the TBSS.

Definatly a fun to drive SUV.

Look into the Vector tune for the TBSS. Nets about 40whp and 40wtq plus removes all of the torque management garbage. Most people have seen .5-.6 improvements in the 1/4 for $399. Will be my first mod for sure!

Faster than a sprayed and bolt-on LS1 SS?

It's possible...you should tell her it already is faster and see if you get some good

Haha Yeah those SS's are cool So are the SRT-8 Jeeps.

I will let her take the Camaro to work after driving her Trail Blazer SS for a little while(get used to it) and see if she still thinks she can get the TB running QUICKER.

It CAN be done..... But ,I doubt it will get done with this truck.
Theres always some one faster,no matter what you drive!

I think it is right at home where it should be! Since we can't have stock 13 sec F-bods at least GM shows us they can make a pretty badass family SUV! I think my wife needs one!!!

yea def nice but. in the end if im going to modify something for speed. id rather do it in a car that weighs alot less. and can achieve the same ammount of power. we dont need a bunch of people racing around in these things and rolling them all over the place.

Oh trust me I know! It pulls good for a little I-6!

GXP- It wouldn't be first choice it but it would sure as heck get the kids from point A to B very quick, fast, and in a hurry! Plus my wife would want it faster for her pleasure I am sure!

I saw an SRT-8 run just over 12.7 stock with a drop in filter, but he cut a crazy 1.8 60 foot.
