But,...are you talking about the orange GTR mustang? The all motor MOD car? Not super powerful but, very sharp car. More of a road racer.

Or did you happen to run across a chump with a badge on his car,...that says GTR?

 

As far as I know, the GT-R was just a concept.

Ford also came out with a Cobra-R in '93 (302 ci), '95 (351 ci; 280 hp & 343 ft-lbs torque @ 3355 lbs) and '00 (330 ci; 390 hp & 385 ft-lbs torque @ 3590 lbs). The Cobra-R's are high value cars and are rare as hell. It would be rare to run into one on the street or the track, as most people have them garaged. Who wouldn't? They will be worth tons in 30 years.

 

I've only seen the Orange GT-R in magazines.......concept car I thought.....but I have seen some jokers make one out of a GT and try to pass it off as a one-off custom car.

If you see it again......hit the gas and bust his ***!

 

I think it was just a badge on a regular GT, i saw the same thing.

There is a new racing car that you can buy from Ford, derived from their "Boy Racer" program (stupid name for an awesome development project). Its got a DOHC 5L making about 440HP, like 4.40 gears, and ahost of other mods designed to allow the car to survive a long period of all out track abuse. Its pretty sweet. I have a mag with it, I'll try to find it later......

sorry about being in the the forum. I figured it was and dumb *** with auto zone stickers but was wanting to make sure. It was an 00-04 year car.

 

Theres a guy where I live with a LE Camaro SS vert with those stickers next to all the SS badging on the car, and in the middle of the black part of the hood. He also has fear this all over it.

 

Sounds like these guys put all the money into the stickers and not where it counts. I know maybe they try to scare people into thinking their cars are fast! LOL
