If you put down over 700hp to the tires and only ran 120mph in the quarter, you got problems all right. I do not care if you spun the whole way. your MPH should almost always be the same. That is the best way to guage a car. In this situation I believe the car will lose hands down cause I do not think he makes the HP he says. I have seen mustangs put down 547hp to the tires and run 9.50's. Just my .02 cents!!!
So, the Confused guy is lying?

Not actually trying to lie. Maybe he thinks that a K&N air filter really gives you 15HP....I just know tons of guys that claim horsepower numbers and have never really had there car dynoed. They just think it should make that or they have raced another guy claiming crazy numbers and beat him so you definitely should be making more then him. I sure you have seen it before.

hahha this is hilarious.
Not only has confused posted countless videos of his car being the beast that it is, it was actually built by another guy on this board who still posts in this forum quite frequently.

LOL yeah it was. Crazylegs check my sig, thats what hes got. After he bought it from me he proceeded to put in alot larger cam, 1 7/8 headers, had it retuned and upped the jets. Id say hes easily making over 700. Also I ran the car the way I had it, it still had a 10 bolt, and babied it to an 11.50 @ 130 mph. The car will easily go 10s with a rear and probably 9s with a TH400.

Well all I know is my buddy in a mustang weighing 2800lbs he is about 200lbs he went 9.70. The car then was put on the dyno and laid down 515 rwhp. They tuned it and got 547 out of it. He went back to the track and went 9.50's. My motor made 700hp on an engine dyno. We put it in the car and ran 8.85@156mph. I guess I just don't understand the difference in why it takes way more horse power to make a F-Body car go as fast. I am being serious, please explain?

Because it weighs roughly 700-pounds more.

Wow comparing a 2800lb track car to a probably 3800 lb street car/stock suspension/STREET RADIALS/spraying at 1/2 track. The car is legit it just can't put the power to the ground.

Yep. Weight is killer in one. This particular car weighed 3790 with me in it at the track. If it weighed 2900 pound sit would go 9s @ 140+ mph. As it sits if it had a ggod rear it would go low 10s. It has the stock 10 bolt in it and you have to baby it out of the hole but like I said even babying it I went 11.50 @ 130 mph and 130 is good for mid - low 10s with a decent launch.

Yeah but it didnt really matter because I still launched it easy. Only difference is I wasnt lighting the tires up at the 1/8 like you are on street tires.
