Sweet OMG! E55 AMG Mercedes vs. MY h/c Camaro Man I wish i had a video to show... o.m.g.
So I was complaining today that my car is too fast for anyone in town anymore since my Patriot LS6 heads and 224/228 cam. Numbers in sig.
So im just cruising around on my way to blockbuster and behind me catchin' up QUICK is a gorgeous black mercedes. On the side "V8 KOMPRESSOR". This thing must be real new, it was perfect. Traffic was coming in my lane so I fall back and get behind him, E55 AMG. I love AMG Mercedes.. omg... my first race in my h/c car!
so I move back over to the left after traffic opens, and on '1' we go. Man those cars are quick, but NOT QUICK ENOUGH BABY! at the top of 4th (had to be well into 130's) I had him by more than a couple car lengths! I slowed down and I wanted to go again, but across the median there were 2 cop cars facing the other way (whew) so that was it, and he got off.
Man, my 1st win is a mad lux pimp Benz AMG. FYI. 469HP 519LB TQ flywheel on those.

THe E55's have been around a while, the newer E55's have the 469/519 power. I was shocked that I walked it like I did, but was surprised still how fast it was (trying not to sound contradictive lol)

Nice kill, kinda like the guy I keep seeing in dowtown boston near my office. He has an sl55 amg vert. I keep trying to flag him down and check his car out but hes always in a rush and just waves. Stock they are pretty quiet cars but he has some sort of catback done and def an upgraded blower or pulley ro something because this merc has a real nice blower whine to it, and ive heard stock e55, s55, and sl55 amgs and they ahve little to no whine at all. Car is sitting on some bigger than stock tires on the factory wheels and looks gorgeous. Ill have to try to snap a pic but the car sounds insanely good!

My dad has a 66 SS Nova, it appears stock and runs 7.70's (1/8). He raced one of those things, and on take off my dad left him, but 2/3's down the track the Benz came out of nowhere and passed him. I couldn't belive it. The guy said he races it alot at bowling green. He must have had some stuff done to; he claimed 500 at the wheels.

Those E55's are quick. BTW, they are underrated from the factory with that 469/519 BHP. A few of them have dynoed 42X RWHP bone stock, so it's not a big surprise he was right there with you. Pulley and a chip and you could be in trouble real quick. I have seen the torque curve of some of those cars with a Kleeman's supercharger and it's unreal. The torque curve peaked right at 1,800-1,900rpm and stayed flat ALL THE WAY to redline approx. 6,200-6,800rpm, depending on V8 or V12. I have not seen any other TQ curve like that other than those for TT Vipers. Good kill.
