Saw a dark blue RSX-S pull out behind me on the highway today, hung beside him a while, (in all fairness he had 2 or 3 passengers I belive, prolly 150-180# a piece). Anyways, I gave him a fender hit from 60 and by 70 I had put about a car or 2 on him, by 100 he was a few busses back, maybe 10 cars or so. I dont know when he let off though. I didnt want to run again, but they did, anyways, he downshifted and went and i just left it in OD and punched it. THey put 3-6 cars on me by 100 or so when we started slowing down, not real sure how many, wasnt counting or worried about it. Cool guys, thumbs up all around. Nice to meet some import owners who are cool with the domestics!

no, he was a pretty cool guy, asked me my mods and i gave him the short list. I dont sand-bag like most 5.0 owners, lol. What do stock RSX-S 6-speeds trap? I imagine he trapped maybe 1-2 mph slower with his passengers, just curious, anyone know?

I dont, but a lot of people say that the K20 in that thing is about the best 4 cylinder NA in production. They put that thing in all sorts of chassis like the Attack and I think the Ariel Atom might be using it too.

I knwo a guy who just ran high 13's/low 14's @ a best of 103 in the 1/4 in a RSX with a JDM K20A2 swap. He has a few minot mods, motor mounts, gaskets(raised compression?) and Kpro and a tune.

so just intake, exhaust, motor mounts, and a header and gaskets can raise their mph by 10 mph!!!??????? DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guy I work with has one, trapped a mid 90's on my GTech with me in the car FWIW. So probably low 90's.

I hate those bastards, I got my BIG ticket ($1700) spanking one. He lost sooooo bad the cops thought i was racing a completely diff. car. HAHA. Damnit, i'm just mad at myself, they are ok cars. There is a turbo one around the block from me a want a piece of.

You pulled 2 car lengths within 10mph...I figured he would put up a better fight. Maybe he blipped the throttle to get you to bite and then let off but you floored it away. I dont get too much racing action in the s10. I guess people think its faster than it is.

No, im not100% sure about the 2 cars from 60 to 70, I was more watching the road/tach than hte speedo. IT was pretty mean though, i freight trained by him pretty nasty. I do know it wasnt a throttle blip. He already knew i was in for it and i made a big show of keeping back in the seat until i was ready, then leaned foreward to downshift and left the clutch in until he gunned it. I nailed it after he got a fender hit or so. It was obvious by engine tone he DS'ed

They trap low 90's stock, but they suck at the low end because they don't have any torque, typical Honda.
