Default PLEACE Read..RACING a TURBO GST ECLIPSE

ok some guy in my area has 1996 i belive Gst eclips.dont knwo much on these cars but know his is turbo and awd.he has ran 12.65 quarter at the track with a1.78 60ft .says its stock . ok my first trip to the track in my car i rana 13.30 at 106.02.now i have headers true duals and better clutch so i figure i should run 12.8x now .so whats some advies to race him .go from a roll or what and do and does his times sound stock racing this friday no matter the outcome i cant back down from a challenge

Negative on him being stock if those times are true. Also if he's AWD, then it's a GSX. Finally unless you have sticky tires, run from a roll.

there is know way he would even pull a sub 14 stock . i had a buddy with a GSX and i used to edge him out when i had my Taurus SHO. i don't know that he could pull that even with full bolt-on's. and if he is running that fast i'm sure his crank is about to walk away from his block anyday now (those cars are known for crank walk)
