Default I watched a ws6 embarass a 2006 mustang GT today

I was accually following a ws6 today down our main road ( rt. 60 ) and I saw a greyish gt come up behind me so i moved over and he pulled next to the T/A. there was a guy about 20 something in the TA and the kid in the gt looked to be about 17.( He had no idea of what was to happen). The gt looked bone stock, and the ws6 had exhaust and was lowered from what I could tell. They both were stick. anyways, we all caught the light and I watched the ws6 pull about 2 cars off the line...and kept watching it pull away even harder.... lol it sucks when that happens... I laughed VERY VERY hard at the GT and kept riding along... lol

- the GT would have had a better chance w/ me....

They're pretty slow in stock trim. They mod up nicely though. Those 3V's have some
potential. They flow extremely well. Bolt ons don't do ****, but FI certainly does.

my neighbor has one with saleen body kit and exhaust. best run was 12.8 @ 109mph he said. this was done with street tires. ive driven his and it is pretty spunky. interior was far better than mine and it was much more comfortable plus easier to drive.

in Stock form they are Timid, even with a manual.
But alteast they push 300 Fly Wheel HP, and w/o the help of a S/C

I will never own a stang though.
It seems like they are everywhere

That's the logical outcome considering the WS6 has more power and is probably lighter.

However those s197 GT's can move pretty decently in the right hands and gears, tyres, CAI and tune (stock every thing else) has gone mid 12's which I think is pretty respectable.

Nice kill, and I have to agree I couldnt own one of the new mustangs, everyone and their mother have one now. I must see like 10 a day, either v6's or gt's. Although the gt's are nice cars and are pretty damn fast I just couldnt own one. id love one of the saleens though, they look pimp.

If I were to own one one day I would get the Cervinis G500 kit or whatever the elenor clone is, I am not much into body kits, but that one looks clean. That + an SC would make it a nice car.

Same here... It's nice having a car that you don't see on the road every day.

I might see 1 other ls1 f-body a month if im lucky, otherwise its all srt-4's, sti's, evo's, new mustangs, and maybe the occassional vette. Probably due to the cold weather/snow here in mass, where you located stanger?

Shreveport, LA. Today on my swift commute, i saw a C5, and an unknown SN95 mustang. I also saw a CLK240 Kompressor or whatever the roadster is and a black Z3, also spotted was a pontiac solstice. And then, my 5.0 if you want to count that. I rarely see an EVO and have only seen 1 STI. We do have some SRT4's though (I think i saw one as well today). Most SRT4's in my area are running low 12's or so.

i thinkt he stangs are slow. i watched mutiple 05-06's run best of 9.1 in the 1/8 mile and i walked a few in the 1/4 at bowling green.

and how would a saleen body kit stang with just exhaust run 12 anything.... must be somehting else done?
