I know this is offtopic a lil but this is worth seeing what a sedan from nissan can do:
http://jime.homeip.net/maximase/kill.wmv
Maxima has a VQ30DE in this video and is the same platform overall as the Altima

rofl, too bad the transam couldn't drive. It's still faster without the juice, rofl. I'd say the transam was on street tires, lol. I wasn't impressed with the maxima running only low 12s with the 100 shot. I honestly excepted 11s. Like I said, it's clear by the 60' mark and the trap speeds, the transam would be faster with a good driver. Oh well, rofl.

U must be the only 1 in the world that would expect a maxima in the 11's

the SSR is prolly stock. Unless he's got a tune he's not going anyhigher than 130mph. We had some dipshit in his SSR trying to top it out on the road my work was on. Boy was it nice of him to try goign 130mph on a contry road with hills while Im walking almost $10k worth of dogs. he didnt learn his lesson when he almost lost it going over one of the hills, as he came back for seconds and thirds. Nonetheless Someone called the cops on him

Have fun seeing the SSR in the rear view. I've punished a few with zero problems. One of which was slightly modified.

And for the record I'm a full time sponsor for the Altima hate group. I can't even beleive people are discussing Altimas in this forum. Hopefully an admin will spare other people of this worthless BS and delete the posts. Anyhow see if you can get your kill on video and send it to the SSR forums for good measure!

Hopefully your 60 ft. will be better than mine... I don't know that much about SSR's but with all that power, traction may be a problem?

So he will be back up here Friday, and my boss even wants me to smoke his ***. When Friday comes we will see if I can hold up a little better than a Altima !! Nothing against Altima's but he gets on my nerves!!!!!!!!

Don't worry man I smoked one pretty bad from a dig and I only had a lid and a catback. make sure you a camera ready!

You'll beat him, but it should be a "good" race. The weight alone kills him!

possibly, SE stick runs with a lt1 stock. They are 14-14.2 flat cars. An auto a few tenths higher. He's mods the car is a 13.5 no juice.

1.8 60' mark, with a better 60', the car is capable of 11s. 113mph is capable of 11s.

He's on slicks.

edit: and if he had the stall converter, it would be there easily.

edit the vq30dek is a 3.0L, last year was a 2001. My mother drives one; soon to be a C6, if my dad buys it. A 3.5L VQ35DE is in the maxima for 2002+ and those altimas.
