if I'm not mistaking, I believe meltdown's car is a track proven 10 sec ride, we'll just wait for his input as I am not the owner of the car and don't know exact time figures.

but even though you are 1,200 miles apart, maybe meltdown's friend wouldn't mind taking a road trip, that is if time and money allow it to happen.

I'd sure love to see that.

Does common sense allude you? A 2,000lbs tube chassis car is a hell
of a lot easier get moving than a 3,400lbs backhalf car. I would expect
that car to run 6.40's @ 220mph. Looks fairly unimpressive to me as I stated
previously.

He is...and they are.

I'm still waiting to see the REAL car. I see a car that will lose against
every other car in it's class.

thats if the car weighs 2000lbs there is such a thing as class rules. that vid was taken 3yrs ago at race weight...and a 632 big block camaro with tubs and big tires makes it alot easier to move a 3400lb "street" car than true street cars with under 400ci, stock suspension/wheelwells, and true 10in tires.

10's is slow to a guy with only a 620hp Cobra

This thread is full of folks with tens of thousands of dollars to toss around talking ****....kinda weak....

10 second cars are not slow, and yet I agree, they don't need to be trailered...c'mon now.

Time for a lock, like most overdone threads here. 5+ pages=nothing worth reading here.

IBTL! I'll be trailoring mine to the track cause it's a 2.5 hour trip and I don't wanna wear off my tires just getting to the track.

meltdown made a 1.5 hour trip.

and also, in this city, you don't want to be driving cars that are loud as hell. it was trailored to a place where no cops go, and driven through the outskirts.

that is the reason these cars were trailored.

Well, if my engine crew is right, mine should be in the high 8's while still wearing plates. We are, however, treading on the edge of legal here. I ain't drivin' this thing that far to the track. One hour? Yeah, I'd do that.

Now...I do find it funny that he pretty much called out everyone here then got

At least he called them out and actually raced though. Most of the typical "trolls" wont actually race.

Props to MELTDOWN for going out to race. I remember his original call out thread and we all though he was just a troll. Good race.

I talked to the guy in the Camaro. He told me he was squeezing only a 100 shot and was gonna do a lot more the following run. He took it easy the first run because he thought he was going to spin. But he was going to spray off the line and bring a wheel off the ground on the next run. He was also going to spray more.
