Pretty sure the "Venom" is a Hennessey built car. Hence the name Hennessey Venom Viper. They are one in the same. It says the Viper makes 650 whp. I still haven't saw the vid so....

The viper was "reported" to make 650rwhp. It was nowhere near that, clearly. The owner said it was a heads/cam/boltons car. The 650rwhp number is blatant bullshit. MAYBE 550rwhp. And that I doubt even.

Not sure, mines a Hennessey 550. It makes a little over 500 at the wheels. The 600 is a lot more, not sure how much.

Heard ya the first time. 
Im just going off what I saw. I think the owner was bs-ing us as to what the car was really putting out. It certainly didnt move out fast.

How fast are you going when you nail it? I'm guessing, if I had run 17" DR's on my car when it was going 144mph in the quarter, and hit it from a 50 roll, I would have probably would never have hooked.

On spray it won't hook for anything unless i'm in 4th.. On motor, if I nail it in second from any speed, slow or fast, it''l spin right threw it....third gear is speed shifted and that spins for about 15ft i'm guessing.
If I start off in third it won't spin on motor. Camshaft goes in this week...so we'll see how much better it gets.
