Yeap, where's the drama? We need some details, not just the conclusion.

LOL. Its all relevant big dog. Haha I know you would leave me in the dust, but you and I both know that when the race gets up to high speed, the superior design of the vette (for high speed) will start to pull your *** (not my vette, but one that is just a somwhat less in hp than you) hard.

Unit what's up with the no response to my Mustang. You give me **** and then don't even gimme a thumbs up on the Stang (I bought it for myself, when I was going to sell my VR4, but I gave it to the wife so I could get a vette), and it hurts my little feelings . Well, I'm waiting,.....

I race to the finish line. So the superior aerodynamics of a vette aren't
much of a factor. Top speed is boring to me. Acceleration is what
I enjoy.

understood. Top speed is dangerous as hell, even more so in a vette I would think (pcm, targa top, = cut off head). I don't race like that anymore (of course, haven't been challenged either ), but its just as sweet to me to know that I would have a chance with a car with more hp than mine.

thanks for the props, my wife says thanks too.

Have you ever seen the Cobra 4v 4.6....It is certainly not smaller than an ls1/6. especially the supercharged 03 up version.

Im willing to bet his GT is somewhere in the 330rwhp/400rwtq range, prob weights between 3500-3600 with him in it. Certainly enough to beat some stock C5's, but I bet a properly driven stock 6-speed could give him a good run and possibly beat him.

Yeah, well a little spray of the ***** juice usually gets the job done. I had a run in with a new R1 on the highway the other day and I thought the guy was kidding, he would have murdered my ***. I also saw the Patrick Stephens Freestyle convoy rolling with those guys on the bikes. I used to stunt 50s with some of those guys, fun times.

He said he laid down 366 on the spray in an earlier post, so I don't think a stock C5 will pose much of a threat to him until the stang shifts into 5th. At that point it doesn't matter IMO. He said he was running 975 psi on the bottle so we will just say like 350 to the wheels. He'd still win and obviously knows his car well.

...maybe with a **** driver in the vette.... otherwise, it would be a close race. Given EQUAL drivers, i'd say it would be a stalemate... Stock C5 is what, 3200...3300? a stang is what?..3600? The vette will lay down what, 310rwhp? The stang 360rwhp?

Stalemate. Unless one driver is better then the other.

Doesn't matter.... the mustang won, the corvette lost. Life goes on.

Already did. Got booted after two passes and was told not to come back.
I won't install a cage so I won't be back. My last pass there I ran
an 11.0 @ 130mph while standing on the brakes to try to slow down
to greater than 11.50 so I could keep running. That was on blower only.
I don't think I'll be hitting the track with this car anymore.

No it IS HUGE.... The physical size of the engine is much larger than an ls1/6. From an engineering/manufacturing standpoint that is inefficency. So the size argument holds no water.

There is nothing wrong with the dyno.. Alot has to do with his tune.. Its the same place I got my car tuned and dyno'd at.. I checked my car on other dyno's and its right on.. His car runs strong on the spray and even on motor for a bolt on GT. Him using his spray and me on motor are dead even on the street and my car runs 12.0's@112-113 on motor..

I think your wrong there bud.. Cubic inches are Cubic inches. Just because the 4.6 has OHC's that make it look bigger doesn't mean it is.. The block is very small, just the heads and cams make it look bigger then it really is..
