why is it you race only stock c5's? why dont you race one with some bolt ons and dr's. doesnt it get boring racing the same types of cars with no mods.

Depending on what part of the country your living in, it's hard to find modded car's to play with.
You have to run with what you come across.

 

I dont give a **** why is it this guy posts kills on stock c5's. I'm sure this guy has gotten his *** raped plenty of times by some f bodys why dont you post some of those races?

BLah blah , yes I've lost to a bunch of f-bodys before I had nitrous. The stories aren't even worth telling. And I would be more than happy to race a bolt on c5 if I can find one here in my area that will actually race, and was available to race when i was.

 

 

Vette was probably an automatic with 2.73's. Not bashing your kill but a4's with the low gear are slow. My m6 is a real killer (my wife owns the stang in the fam, an 02GT), stang is a 5 speed, and we all know how 4500-6k is where the real power is(vette,z28, ta, or stang). Race an m6 vette (stock, mine is), and watch out for 2nd and third gear. They pull so crazy high in th rpm's, and I know what I'm talkin about bc I did it this morning on the way to work. They are tall *** gears too.

Find a manual vete, stock, and tell the guy to shift every time at 5800rpms. See what happens and post up.

 

I hate to break it to you, but a stock C5 doesn't "pull so crazy" anywhere.

 

What my smart-*** friend, are you comparing it to? You're blown stang? Dude, quit being a Mustang hard-***. I wasn't being derogatory (unlike you), but they pull much harder up high (like any manual) so Im saying he COULD HAVE (not for sure, know one knows) been racing an automatic.

ya its a good kill but the same races get old after awhile and if someone is gonna post about how they beat a stock c5........who gives a ****. this is an ls1 forum so why am I gonna care if a 300 hp full bolt on gt with nitrous beats a stock ls1?

 

So what times are the c5's good for, auto and manual? Just curious cause I pulled one in the talon, up to about 90-100 until he let off for traffic. I think it was stock, it wasn't extremely loud but it did sound good.

 

mid-hi 13's. 6 speed can be in lower 13's with a good driver.

 

Because this is the street race/kill section and that is the latest car he has beaten.. Why are you getting so mad that he post a kill on a C5 Vette?? Does it matter what type of car gets beat.. I forget Vettes can neva loose..
