Default downshifting by ricers

So I have noticed that since I got my loudmouth put on, I have been downshifting when driving past ricers and guys who think that they are tight in v6 mustangs. Does anyone else do this? Or am I just immature or an ******* or some spoiled kid? Anyways I wish that I could put long tubes and an ory on and make it ridiculous but its just not practical for a college student. I have gotten it back tho, a few times from some loud vettes and cobras and such but I dont mind it cause i respect those cars.

Sort of. I downshift when I see a cool car coming in the opposite direction or when I am passing one. When I see a ricer, I rev it to about 5 grand. Scares the **** out of them with the long-tubes, off-road X, and the Dynomax Bullets dumped. I was screwing with my friend while he was in his Supra. I passed him hauling *** and I was almost at red-line when I passed him. Needless to say, he was deaf in his left ear for the next 18 hours

lol ya i do the same thing... or if i see a ricer or mustang come up from behind like on the highway ill "quietly" put it in 5th that way they think ive been in that gear the whole time... but really i only did it to act cool and to see if they would mess with me

and ya, i only started doing it after my headers/ORY/cutout

that is the best thing in the world, revving a no cat, headers equiped LS1 right in the ear of some unsuspecting ricer.

i usually dont do it out of nowhere, because i think they probly think im an idiot for trying to race a civic in my ls1 lol, but if they mess with me first, ill let them have it up to about 5.5k rpm.

and believe it or not, ive had TONS of ricers jump in their drivers seat because they werent expecting it, especially if i have my cutout closed when they approach, ill open that bad boy and let it rip. its even better when they have their g/f's in their car, and the ricer jumps lmao, sometimes i actually feel bad, how stupid would you feel if you jumped scared in front of your g/f because of the car next to you hahahahahhaa

Talking

I've got a 236/236 cam in my 'Hawk currently. Even though I only downshifted sometimes in the past, I'm almost certain I always will once the twin turbos are spooling up next week.

omg... if i had TT's, i'd be going through a quarter tank every day, just from always downshifting/revving/showing off in front of ricers hahahahhaa

Got any dyno graphs you can post?

Besides, 4 bangers have a ghey exhaust note no matter how much power they have.... and if you had 600hp that motor was on the ragged edge. I'd rather get "only" 600rwhp out of my V-8 and have my car last a couple years of weekend duty.

I do it in the Hennessey with the 3" side pipes, but I dont rev, I down shift as I am coming to a stop if the is a hot car up ahead so the can hear the back pressure poppoing while coming down off the revs, I like that sound more than a rev. Plus it is less conspicuous, because it doesn't appear like your showing off.

Why the hate? High HP FWD is lame...been there. And unless you had an ITR LSD swap it was even more lame, nothing like having one wheel drive and always having to go from a roll.

I have raced a few 500 600 700 hp Civic and tegs....but they must either not hook up or not have the power they claim becuase my weak little 550 hp car has never ahd a problem dealing with them...from a dig or a rice roll.

i'd rather have a stock LS1 f-body than a 600hp integra...

everybody revs their engines next to people every now and then. i like passing civics with far cans at 3000+ rpm's just to make a point or when i pass WS6's because i love 'em so much. other than that, i only rev at girls...and it never seems to get me anyway oh well, cutout soon!

The LoudMouth will do that. When I was just running the stock exhoust I would never rev (no point), but right after I put my LM on last week I was a major douche to just about everyone for the first couple of days. I just loved to hear it, it's such a major difference from the stocker. But I've calmed down a lot. I usually reserve it for other V8 domestics or Ricers with a staring problem.

What makes a nipple freaky? The length, color or diameter?

Wouldn't this be the same as the SRT-4 guys giving a BOV shot as they pass by?
