Kid at Harbor Freight told me his uncle has a "Buick T-Type" running 9s. But wait dear readers, it blew a head gasket with its "$2500 turbo". It has been ferried overseas, and when it gets back, it will run low 8s.

I wish I was someones Uncle. Clearly I would smoke all at any track. Thats my next mod. The Uncle mod. Get a sibling laid at the local bar and instantly drop like 4 seconds off my ET. Pick up about 40 MPH in the traps too.

I wonder if summit or jegs would have the uncle mod in one of their catalogs? Ill have to save up for that when i find it. If i cant ill just ask someone with a 10 second stock SRT or an overseas buick that hits the single digits, im sure one of them will point me in the right direction.

Ill leave out anything that has to do with tire meltin sander trucks just for my boy burnzilla. Hehe. J/K

My dad has a 03 Mach1 with a h/c and exhaust that dynoed at 355whp and 330ish torque. A kid at school told me a stock turbo talon ran mid 12's and would kill my dads car. Not to mention he also told me his brothers STOCK Fiero could stomp on my 10 second ZR900, I just couldnt help but to laugh.

I know for some people it might be hard to believe. Hell, I was surprised.
I told my old man ( who owns the truck ) I wanted the motor, and he said
"When I die, its yours."
I love my old man and its going to very hard to see him go, but I know I got a 454 now
I think they are a 7.4 Liter, but not sure. The pistons/chambers are like milk jugs.

Actually its a Artic Cat Sled there like 150 horse the mags had them in high 10's and it dont take a genious to launch and get a snowmobile to hook even if I didnt hook I would still walk a ******* fiero. Were I ride on the trails you it goes past the highway its always fun to play with the trucks like gun it let them pass you and then just gun it till 80. The talon was all stock including the boost, I laughed and was like doesnt it run 15's from the factory. I always feel like the old mach dont have **** because all you fbod guys have mid 400whp but I still love the car. Ill have to set up a run with my buddys 900 ninja vs the fiero it, the Fiero might walk it you never know.

yah most people just run their mouth and sadly just dont know anything about cars...the worst ppl is def car salemen(no offense to anyone)...I swear I have yet to run across a car sales man that knows what they are talking about, when i was looking for my F-body I was looking at a 00' ram air, the salesman came out started it up and it was pretty loud, he turns to me and says the previous owner had a borla exhaust installed, so I go to the back of the car, tips are stock, I look under the car and its just a cut out...I have so many other ex. but its just ridiculous car salesmen should actually know a little somthin about what they sell instead of makin **** up or pullin stuff out their ***... just my opinion.

the best is when you tell someone you have 460 hp (old motor) and they laugh and say thats it and then tell you about a 950hp honda. if i would have taken them for a ride i could have claimed it had 1000+ and they wouldnt have known. 460 is a lot more then you think.

^I'm with this guy, it might not take much to get a talon into 12 sec territory, but a stock setup wont cut it unless it was gutted to 1200 lbs. and upped the boost lol.
Edit: 2000 lbs is more likely, but I'm just trying to make a point that 800-1000 lbs is a lot of weight to cut.

When I had first got my LS1 TA my friend and I stopped at a Ford dealership bc he wanted to look at an 03 GT that they had sitting there. Of course the salesman comes out and starts some bullshit about the GT since my car is parked there. I just laughed when he said that I should have spent my money more wisely and gotten more horses. I said "Well seeing that my car is an underrated at 305 hp to the 260 of the GT I don't think I made too bad of a choice." He then said "Yeah you're probably right, but if you wanted real power, you should have bought a new Altima, they have 365 horsepower"...lmfao

I was cruising in traffic up the street to home depot with the wife and this honda civic with huge fart can was behind me in the next lane. My car is extremely loud at idle, so when I'm just rolling I get looks like a mother ******. And you can imagine when I'm WOT!

Anyway this kid runs up behind me to pass the car in front of him and changes lanes back to his passing the car he intended. As he aggressively passes me ( I don't think he was WOT) my wife says "he's gonna get back home and post up in his little honda forum how he beat this Vette with that had only a muffler!".

I couldn't believe she said that. I about pissed my pants I laughed so hard!

on a side note, i bet i get comments like that about me all the time.
im used to fast vehicals. from the time i was 18 until the last couple years, i daily drove my motorcycle.. ive always had modded V8 cars, ect...

when im in my beater, its usually something slower.. like my current 4 cyl S10.. i beat the **** out of it... i mean, its floored. im reving the **** out of it, ect.
people think im trying to race.
really, im just trying to get up to speed to slap it in 5th.. or to merge, ect...
its kinda funny when you think about it.

People's stupidity really amazes me. I spotted out a stage 3 methanol injected srt-4 4 off a light with my STOCK camaro and won by 2 cars. I won because this guy flat out could not drive. After that race, this kid and all his friends had probably 10 other friends and relatives with race cars that could kill me any day of the week. "I'll have my sister's friends boyfriends cousin trailer his pro street nova up here and he'll knock your dick off."

I really loved when I saw a civic hatch run at the strip. It had one seat in it all lightened and **** and it still ran in the 14's. Theres this kid at school with a Mazda MX-3 some hatchback with a exhaust that you can fist. He thinks because he beat a stock civic, stock non turbo eclipse, and did a couple ricer fly by's and some Audis he thinks hes got the fastest car in town. Im not into street racing or anything but Id bust out the stang to whop on him.

My God, what a douche nozel!!!! I took my buddy shopping for his GT when I was in my LS1. We went to the dealership and the owner of the place is the one who came out to help (Turns out the guy is a real gear head and cool as a fan) He was showing him an '02 GT (which my buddy eventually bought) that was had a slew of bolt-ons with 4.10s. He looked at my freind and said, "Yeah it will take that LS1 of the line."
I said "Yeah, maybe, but once I hit 2nd I predict taillights!"
Later on, it is just me and the owner and he says, "Yeah your right, I have an '02 SS and that things is just a monster straight from the factory."
I laughed my *** off
