Destroyed a C5

I was just rolling down hwy59 when I see a dark grey C5 enter the freeway, I roll up next to it to check it out, all I notice is that it is lowered and has a nice catback. Anyhow we are rolling about 70mph and without warning he just takes off, I drop down to 3rd and start catching up, by 120 I passed him and hit the brakes. It was one of those races that kinda pisses you off, cause you know he got a big jump but at the same time he prob thought he was pretty even with you.

I was determined to destroy him so I roll back up at 65-70 and this time I am just sitting in 3rd waiting for him to go, as soon as he jumped I push my leg through the floorboard. In 3rd it took me a second to catch his initial jump but by 6700rpm I was flying by him, I NAIL 4th and just walk off on him, by 130 he was 4-5 cars back but seemed to still be on the gas, no way I was gonna let him fly by me, so I shift to 5th and stay in it untill my speedo is PINNED at 155, lol. I look back and beleive it or not the old guy is STILL on the gas, just 10 or so cars back, lol. He never passed me up but he did roll up and give me a thumps up and kinda mouthed out "DAMN". Nothing special but it made an overall boring sunday a little better.

Sounds like alot of fun man. I know what you mean about the anger thing....people getting the jump and **** pisses me off too. Then when you catch them, your like "thats right bitch!!!"

Anyways...nice kill man. Neverlift.
