Default raced a 5.0

Alright I finally raced my camaro..It's all stock besides my LM..On the highway I saw the foxbody headlights on my *** so I slowed down. It got on the side of me and I wanted to make sure it was the 5.0.. I was anxious b/c I never raced my car b4 so I was like what the hell. Maybe from 60 I dropped into 4th gear and he took off and I started late but couldn't catch him. He slowed down and this time we started at same time but he started pullin on me and I was like no way..The 3rd time I thought let me turn off my ASR button and we took off at the same time from 60 again and I whooped on him pretty good and I was pullin away. The 4th time same speed he started early but I caught him like nothin and was pullin away good after that. He didn't want nothin anymore cause I would slow down but he wouldn't get on the side of me...neway I thought that was a rush but I need to start modding my car quick..

You might trip it on a downshift if the RPMs are sitting a little off. Probably hurt you pretty bad. Good run

You need to learn how to drive. Why go into 4th gear at 60 mph Next time go into 2nd or 3rd gear and you should have pulled him hard

Only try 2nd if you get more practice... 2nd gear at the wrong rpm or speed and you might bend a pushrod or cause some other damage.

Better to shift slow then to shift fast and miss a gear.

I doubt the ASR was hurting you in 4th gear at 60mph enless you were reving to 6 grand and dumping it in 4th ya 4th gear at 60mph probally felt like smashing the pedal on a 4 banger enless you have a turbo or sitting around 600 rwhp .
