Tangled with an R1

Tangled with an R1 35 N tonight three bikes come haulin a** up on me. one pulls up next to me and revs up we are running bout 60 65 i look over and i cant tell if its an R6 or R1. i hit 4th and he punches just before me and we roll on he pulls from the start and he gets out about 5 feet in front of me and we even out got to about 120ish and let out. so we get even again and im thinkin its gotta be an R1. rollin bout 60 again we nail it and almost the exact same result happens. By this time im furious i kno i can take him. So he's next to me we slow down to around 40 this time and we are talkin I asked if it was an R1 he said yes i said thats what i figured. It was badass Orange metallic and neons he had all matching leathers and stuff. But now we are rollin more in my power range im in third at about 40 45ish. We nail it again i hit just before him and i pull him about a car and a half he actually tried to draft me and tucked behind me but it wasnt enough. We ran up to 153 was the number i saw when my escort beeped. We slowed down really fast didnt see anyone and we just cruised out he came up on me and gave me a thumbs up and i took my exit. Those d*** bikes are quick and fast. But i love my ZO6. Sorry that was a long story.

an R1 is FAST no way a Vette with only 450 ish to the wheels is keeping up with him unless like someone else said novice rider or it really wasnt an R1.
My car makes the same power as above and I think I have enough for a 750 but not even close to a liter bike.

seems like some of you guys arent reading right seems like some of you guys arent reading right. Or maybe some of you with heavier cars with more power just are mediocre at driving. I didnt say i walked him. I DID say two times that he pulled me and then evened out. Aerodynamics are huge. So is the size of the rider/drivers *****. I was there. I have no reason to lie. i dont need ya'lls approval. maybe you shud lighten up your cars and learn to drive better. Or maybe just get bigger *****. I have owned a few bikes and they are rally quick but after a certain spped they dont climb that fast.

you say only 450 on just motor like its nothing. You have a supercharger. i can spray or blow this thing and be ridiculous. I have an 11.50- 60 capable daily driven car. ive already dusted a 750 from a good roll. and a 600 is not a problem. I dont even consider what happened a win. in my book i was just glad to hang with him. at 145 or so he cudnt pass or pull. So whatever

for sake of not typing a longer story we were down in a lower speed talkin out the window on the highway. when i looked and remembered the speed it was 40ish. we did roll out before hitting it and i didnt pay attention to much. we were rolling faster. I dint realize that a story was gonna be critiqued so much that i had to detail it to a T. Maybe not yourself but its seems some of these guys have to put alot of thought into the stories they "make up" so when a true story comes around they just cant believe it.

Oh well. I realized it wasnt normal. I was shocked as hell. Right place right time. Some of ya'll sound like u know what your talkin about. And some that just scoff and say they make so much more power than me but are still sporting the 11 second badge probably sprayed or blown. They really dont impress me. And they are insignificant as well

I'm not saying that you didn't win, stay even, w/e; no debate there, I am just wondering why you were in 3rd at 45. IIRC, that would be just below the powerband in second.

not you Not intended for you. I understand your ? it make perfect sense. I honestly dont know where we hit it at from there. I was in 3rd because on the HWY his bike was loud and my car is pretty noisy. so less RPM's so i cud hear him. we rolled and it sounded gud when we hit. but i cudnt say what rpm we were at. when hit. The car pulled out hard and i didnt hear it but he cud have been to high a gear which gave me just enough to get in front and stay there. Your coment was not taken wrong. You had a good point and legit ? I didnt take offense to you. My bad if you took it that way

You raced a R6, I dont care if your car does 11s
1000cc bikes are well into the 10s, doesnt matter you raced a R6/
Check out the Terminator vids, his 600whp spray car isnt pulling on 1000s its getting walked.

Jacka** ive owned a blackbird actually two of them. a gixxer 1000, when next to the guy i saw the emblems ***. I never said i pulled away at speed he cudnt pull me and i didnt pull him. Jacka** I spank 600's done a couple and pulled a gxxer 750. He pulled me twice u Jacka**. I even said i was surprised. He very well cud have been in a bad gear or missed a shift. i dont know im just sayin what happened. And on a perfect run A bike at the track is in the 10's. i wasnt at the track i wasnt goin out of the hole. i know it shouldnt have happened. but something did. Maybe you should wait till you actually have something yourself before you take it upon yourself to talk. Ive owned several bikes. And been racing for years. It shudnt have but that time it did. JACKA**. didnt realize ur feelings wud be hurt because a fluke story maybe you suffer from PENI* ENVY. You should get help for that. Maybe a better car would help. I was just relaying the story. But thanx for the MC education course but, ive had quite the extensive training in that area.
