Interesting reading on those sites. Looks like you said quite a few trucks running pretty darn fast. Guess run into some around here sooner or later.Good news is that all my cars are getting a lot faster as well. It really is something to get one of those big heavy trucks to run that quick.

The one that I've seen to the have the most power with easy mods is the dodge cummings. And if you go heavy like with a pair of twins, look out, lol. And those magazine times don't mean notta, look up some track times from all of them. Seems the dodge has been the quickest so far as far as 2005 and older. I haven't read any reviews on 2006, but I'm not taking magazine times.

Best I couild find. The Ford Powerstroke stock vs. stock has a very small advantage over the Isuzu designed/manufactured Duramax. The Cummins is the most reliable.

be careful, there's quite a few 10 and 11 sec trucks on teh road. TD's can run it on the street too bc most of them are 4x4's so traction isnt a problem.

Yes, so far they are cummins or duramax.

You know what confuses the hell out of me...

"Horsepower is nothing in Turbodiesels, its all about the torque"...

So why in the hell are all commercial Turbo Diesels rated with HP numbers and without trq???? Seriously why?

Sorry buy no. 6.0 powerstroke >> 7.3L powerstroke when stock or with equal mods. Now the early 6.0s were experiencing a LOT of headgasket issues that would typically show up by the radiator fill bottle suddenly overflowing..

There are no 300hp chips in existance for any diesel including the Duramaxx LBZ, LLY, and LB7, or for any powerstroke 7.3 or 6.0 and cummins either! (at least not to my knowledge, and we own a chevy 6.5LTD, a cummins ISB, and a 6.0 powerstroke)

the BEST tuner for a 6.0 powerstroke (whit power in mind) after the intake and exhuast would be an SCT Extreme tune and if he has that you better be paying attention cuz that truck when properly launched in 4x4 will be knocking on the door of 13's and be waaaay ahead on the launch...

The duramax's are what you have to becareful of though!! They will hand the 6.0 its **** most of the time...
PPE makes a programmer for the LB7 that adds 350hp on its highest setting. My friend has this programmer and has run mid 14's on its 2nd setting (Its got 4 settings). If he runs it on the 3rd or 4th setting it slips his trans. With a built trans he could run low 13's all day.
