Uhhhh...not true. The Mach1 4V motor is a totally different performing car than a 03/04 stock GT 2V. Mach1=LS1 performance. GT is not in the same zip code w/o some pretty good mods.

You are correct on the gears, cams, and heads. One of my friends had both the mach 1 and 03/04 Cobra. In stock condition they were within a tenth of each other in the 1/8. The Cobra starts to pull after that. Cobra's are heavier because of the iron block,supercharger, and IRS. Mach 1 has a solid rear axle making it easier to launch. Lot of blown IRS units out there from hard launches in the Cobra.

One of the best drivers I know took his IRS'd 03 Cobra with a ported blower, tune, pullied and spray'd to like 11.33 at 134 or something like that on 18" drag radials.
It takes more than a blower and pulley to run 10s. else everyone would be doing that.

JayplaySS2 what color car do you have. I bought my car in FT. Lauterdale in march. It was at RM Motors on i think sunset blvd. I only ask because right after i bought it i cruised by the beach and a white mustang came up beside me and asked about my car.

Its the BAD color. Black. Bad b/c it sucks to keep fu%king clean....Damn that car must have been nice to come that far to get it. Good choice though.
