Driving to school this morning there is always a guy i see with a red gto and i always wanted to see how i would stack up but never would get the chance to race. Well i got my chance we caught a light today. I forgot to look over to see his badges but it did have dual exhaust yet no hood scoops so i am lead to believe it was a 04 gto. Well we roll out slow i go 50% in first becuas eanything else and traction is no exsistent, he has about a car on me i grab second and break the tires loose till 55 when i regain traction i am inching on him, hit third shut down around 110 and he did not pull on me cept for the launch. The front of my car was at his door creeping up but we shut down cuz of a light then he flew by me and flipped me off guess he was mad he couldn't pull on a cobalt.

 

ahhh a cobalt damn good kill kind of.

 

from what i could tell it looked like a x pipe to 2 mufflers i wish he would of stopped to talk and not of been a dick.

yeah just wish i had more power so i really could of rubbed it in his face.

2.5 pulley 60# injectors hp tuners and tranny mounts all for $700. Im pushing 22.5# of boost but im waiting for my full exhaust to come in so prolly 20 or so after that.

 

i was reading this like damn a ls1 should take a 04 gto......the u said cobalt and i started laughing!! no wonder he flicked you off he was pissed hahah Great KILL!!!!

 

HAHAHAHAHAA ^^^ I did the same thing! I'm like what!? LS1 should have beat him. Then I read Cobalt LOL. I think that would have been a good kill. I am guessing if you went longer that you would have pulled, so good Hang. He no pull, you no lose.

CoRNFeD LS2 Is right, you lost Technically. But maybe you will catch him on a roll one day. From the sounds of it, you have serious traction problems going from a dig. Maybe you should cruise with some DRs? I know you could have a bunch of power, but if it's being spent spinning, then you are going to lose. No more lecture from me. I just stated the obvious.

 

traction does own me. Launching is not this cars strong point 18's wrapped in 215's don't help either. Yes as everyone did say the gto did take me i just wanted to stop and talk to the guy. I know i am going to run him agian i see him every monday and wensday on the way to school. So maybe if he is not a dick im can find out his mods.

 

id like to see him from a 50 roll should put us both in a good spot if he is stock geared.
