I love ricer math, it is so funny, yet sad. If you want to go fast with less weight as possible, get a NinjaFX3000GSXRninerF1R1400 sport bike and matchin flower power leathers, then fugg up the launch at the drag strip and run 10.80 @ 140 over and over, then say you have a nine second bike. That would be the coolest evah.

Let's see, my 385 hp oil burnin 01 Z06 is kinda light. It weighs 3000 #'s even, from the factory with an 1/8th tank of gas. Guess I really should just drop in a 2.0L turbo Honder engine cuz I don't need all the tq from the LS6. All I need is hp

Can an LS1 fit in an S2000? That would be a cool car to drive around.

Aww, you are too nice Dan. Had I seen this thread sooner, I probably would have given him a couple day break. Seems the warning worked a bit though.

When it comes down to it, you can make power out of anything with the right budget. If thats what you like, then cool, different strokes for different folks.

Nice kill to the OP

S2000 are slow as sh** unless they are modded within an inch of there life. However, they do handle extremely well.

Depends on your definition, my lighted moded (power wise) S2K would run high 13's (13.6-13.9) all the time at sears point.

And I am not that great of a launcher.

So if by slow as $hit, you mean the same as an LT1, then I guess your right.

I have owned and raced(road) the car, and I know IT IS NOT a drag racer, but your statement smacks of bias, and a little bit of ignorance.

I know its a hard top. The thin tops are falling apart where it is glued. Many people have been waiting over 3 months for chevy to fix there cars but they are told there are no new roofs yet there are new Z06s everyday

I also think the car looks damn good. They spent over 20 hours in the wind tunnel just to get the brake coolers to work right, thats crazy. In a good way
You mention **** that I never hear about. Ls6 has 3V heads? hard top's with roofs falling off? You dont know **** about what your talking about! as far as our engines being old school, I have an old school 68 camaro that I would love to use to crush your High tech 700RWHP car.

He's a typical ricer, comes on here bashing Domestics and trying to represent his crappy Jap cars. They're all the same, its a waste of time just reading his useless posts

What do you mean by "lightly modded"?? Like Full Bolt Ons?? Because thats what you'd need to hit 13.6 in a car that runs low 14's stock with a perfect launch, perfect driver, and optimal conditions.

Intake, exhaust and gears is all it took, to be honest, I think the gears alone would have done it.

But I agree its not a drag racer, but my point was, but saying a high 13 second car is slow as $hit, the poster has also said LT1's are slow as $hit.

That all, I loved my S2k for what it was, a quick car, the was perfectly balanced on the racetrack, and made me smile ear to ear everytime I drove it.
