i can almost guarentee that if your do indeed get around 530rwhp on your Z06....he will need more then 90rwhp to pull ahead of you and keep that lead. They say that a 100% stock C6 Z06 is good for 197mph, at some point, the Z06 will go by the cobra cause of the aerodynamics etc..

23psi, up the timing 4 degrees, and spray it with a 100 shot.
I have nothing but respect for those C6Z's. They are unreal.

They are both of equal driving skills, and the outcome is always the same:

C6 Z06 is ahead by 1.5 cars from a 60-135 ish. I would assume the Z06 would keep on pulling the faster the race went on.
As hp increases to both cars and the racing speeds starts to increase to 150+, the Cobra will need even more hp due to aerodynmaics advantages of the Z06. Remember that as speeds increase, aerodynamics becomes even more so of a factor in a race.
I think a Cobra with a 100 more rwhp than a C6 Z06 would win. But, it also depends on the circumstances of the race. Will a Cobra with a 100 more rwhp beat a Z06 from a 50-160? I am willing to bet it will be close. Will it win from a 50 to 135? I bet it will. Too many variables to count on, but in your "normal" 40/50-135/140 races that usualy take place, a 540+ rwhp Cobra should edge out a stock Z06 given equal drivers.
I would have loved to get some Cobra races in this past spring/summer to try this out, but somebody *cough* Unit213 *cough* never got back with me this past spring/summer like they were supposed to..
That's ok though, I wouldn't have stood a chance against his 620 rwhp monster..
(Still would have liked to try though..
