I have owned the fastest 600 offered for several years and now own one of the fastest liters on the market. You would be really surprised how long it takes a 600 to reach top speed.

you are telling us that stock ls1 will be able to edge out stock r6? by the time when ls1 is 150mph r6 would be long gone.
dont give **** what u owned or have. stock ls1 will not be able to keep up with r6. PERIOD

he would have beenn long gone befo you can even catch up. you have slow 13sec car and R6 is good for @ least 11sec or better. top speed dont matter itz about how fast you can do 0-150.

my buddy with a 05 gsxr 600 from a low roll its over for me from a higher roll 70mph the last time we raced were dead even till bout 135 then the duck starts to pull 
I dont know why that is but we have raced from every roll in the world even a dig but the higher we start the less he pulls. He is a very experienced rider. I have a friend with yamaha r1 unless your runnin some serious hp leave them alone there very fast but as far as a stock ls1 runnin with them runnin with any newer 600 cc street bike why waste your gas cause the ls1 is gettin owned

The '05 I ran against hit 148 or so at the traps, hence the 8 cars he had on me. He wasn't strapped and was on the back wheel until about 80. After that, it was all over. Still fun though. None of the other ***** cars would run him. Me? I just don't give a ****. I'll run anything.
