I know of one that has Kook's headers, a cam, a custom N2O currently a 100 shot, Quaife LSD, a 2800 stall, runs 12's NA, and has trapped 122 and ran a 12.15 on a 2.078 60', then did a 1.76 60' with just DR's before the converter on a 12.29 with only about 850 bottle pressure. Has a bigger cam and P&P'd heads and maybe a FAST engine management setup coming, and he has a 90MM FAST TB left over from his Z28. He's making so much TQ with the current setup that he sheared a halfshaft in two on Friday night at Firebird. He believes the car will end up being able to run 10.90's at 130 and still be very streetable. I have a friend with the GSM supercharger setup who ran a 11.51 at 122.48 at Sacramento a couple of months ago with a stock block and cam. There are H/C NA 5.7's running in the high 12's now too.

Here's a run he did when he ran a 1.76 60' on a 12.29 when the temp was 88 and the DA was 3250.

By the way. It's me

I don't come on here much. Stopped the building of the Z28 and have been playing with the SRT8. Putting a new LS6 in the Z28 and selling off stuff that was going to make it way to fast to be street driven.

I know of a stock one that ran a 12.56 at 112 at ATCO last year. Not knowing what tracks you are at or what your track DA's are. It's apples to oranges. Many are running around with a CAI and a Cat-back. They make 380 to 400 RWHP with just a couple of bolt-ons.

All I can say is, if you get your *** handed to you by one. Give the guy and his car credit. It may be stock, it may not be.

If you guys want, you can ask Termn8r about my sled. Before and after S/Cer.

I don't want to tell them about all the fast SRT8's Ron. We saw 565RWTQ on my car with HAL pulling timing with a baby cam and a 100 shot.

You already got props for your K&N. What was your new HP? 540RWHP?

Yeah these cars are for real.

i saw a bone stock 300c srt-8 go 13.1 @ 108 MANY MANY times over the summer at the track. some old guy, he sat in the staging lanes with the a/c on heatsoaking the **** out of his car, and still managed a damn near 12 second pass. he claimed it was showroom stock. i couldn't tell by looking at the engine, but everything looked legit. that thing moved out. all he said that night was, "damn, i wish i could do what you can with 108 mph"..

i was running dead consistent 12.30-12.29 @ 108 passes, banging the limiter every ******* time on the 2-3.

yup,

Many of the bone stock SRT8's are currently seeing 12.8 - 9's in the cooler weather. CAI and Catbacks are seeing 12.6 - 9's...........

Yeah, these things mph. Buddy of mine has ran 13.0's many times at 108 to 110 with 1.95 60's on 255/45-20 Goodyear F1's. All he has done is a Magnaflow cat-back and high flow cat's. This is with DA's over 3000. He'd run 12.30's to 12.40's at a track like ATCO on a good DA day.
My best CAI, Cat's and cat-back was 13.22 at 109 on a 2.025 60' with a DA of 2750. That's on 245/45-20 RSA's.
Remember we a running 20's stock too.

Actually pretty sure all the SRT8's are supercharged and rated at 425 horses. It's the 340 horsepower hemi with a SC.

The article I just read says they run 13.5 in the quarter but that is a heavy *** car from a dig. Once it is moving I bet they can get up and go.

Car and Driver did 13.2 last year. Same as they did the CTS-V.

That's a helluva lot faster than what I thought they were. There's a guy at my gym that has one - cool car, but BIG!!!
