Maybe it was on the bottle. My friends SRT-8 is on the bottle..... but he has a 300c SRT-8. He ran 13.2 @ 108 with CAI, Exhaust, and Chip. He made 404rwhp. He never dynoed it on the bottle, or raced it on the bottle...

Not unless you're running mid 12s or better. Your friend's car would be trapping at 112mph or better.

Funny how guys w/ cars that trap around 107mph are beating SRT-8s "hard".

Just for the record:

They come with 20s. Very unlikely it had 22s because it has a very well tuned suspension and brake (Brembos) package. F1s are a no-cost option.

Loaded they weight 4200lbs.

The 6.1 has a lot of differences vs. the 5.7 R/Ts. SRT-8s are geared differently.

Superchargers are VERY rare on SRT-8s. Unlikely with dealer plates, even more unlikely that it had NOS.

You do NOT get 30hp from a CAI. That is total BS and it was unsubstantiated because the initial dyno pull was 330hp when they make 360-370rwhp stock. 5-10rwhp is more like it.

Search the forum. Ive posted the video many times. He is on street tires in those videos. I did race him on his BFG Drag Radials and he still lost by a couple cars. I have no reason to lie.

He trapped at 108 after he dynoed 404rwhp. He ran a 13.2. I dont know if it was him or something with the car. His 60 foor was a 2.0 on the stock RSA's. Which is very decent.

I looked for his dyno sheet but I guess he never posted it online. I did find the nitrous thread me made on the 300cforums

Here is video of us racing. The last race my centerforce clutch was acting up. Would not go into gear.

http://www.salinasracing.com/videos/...evsbigsrt8.wmv

After getting the tranny rebuilt, we raced again. I dont have my launching down too well in those vids.

http://www.salinasracing.com/videos/...srt8round2.wmv

He was on exhaust and CAI. I was on a cutout and Lid.

There is more footage of me and him going at it when he dynoed 404rwhp. I also raced an SRT8 Jeep from a dig. I believe there is also footage of us two going at it with his BFG drag radials. Ill try to find it.

There is people in this forum that have witness these races and can back me up on my claims.

I can vouche for this as I am the one who filmed those runs.

He did race Ace on his BFG's and lost by a good amount.

You can't say it's driver error becuase, come on, it's automatic. LOL

I don't believe it was stock because you have a few mods and it still pulled away from you?? An SRT-8 would have a hard time inching away from a stock F-Bod let alone your modded one.

I remember that, there was a huge thread about it on the 300c forums. I think someone said it had DRs and a CAI but I think it was just a factory freak.

Typical trap speeds of 108-110mph dictate inching away from a stock F-body. Done it several times. Figure they run EVEN with C5 6Ms all the way to at least 150mph.

Can't comment on the modded car on this post, too many factors and no hp or track times posted.

I'll check it out when I get a chance. Funny thing is a 13.2 @ 108mph is a stock time. What exhaust does he have?

Unless he has full exhaust, he ran on a VERY optimistic dyno. A 2.0 on RSAs is decent, yes. What track was that at?

Custom Magnaflow exhaust. I believe he deleted the resonator that is located on the xpipe. He has a K&N intake, and a jetchip. He dynoed 404rwhp on a dynojet. He ran the 13.2 @ 108 at Sacramento Raceway. The time I went to the track there was a Magnum SRT-8 running 13.3 @ 107 with ehxuast and CAI.

He dynoed 370rwhp stock. Here is the vid for that

http://salinasracing.com/videos/831c.../SRT8dyno1.wmv

And this is the SAME SRT-8 that beat a convertible 04 Cobra. There was huge threads on different boards about this vid lol. Especially in SVTPerformance.com

http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...d.php?t=213702

Here is the vid

Are you sure it was an SRT8? Sounds like a regular 5.7L hemi R/T.

All I can comment on is the numbers and "typical" results.

"ONLY" header/hi-flow exhaust SRT-8s dyno @ 400+rwhp. I'm suspicious of the dyno. Don't dyno jets tend to post optimistic numbers? I bet if he tried another he would be at 380rhwp. Jet chips for SRT-8s have been shown to hurt performance as well.

Stock (360-370rwhp) SRT-8s trap 108-110mph.

Without knowing if it had heat soak or the 60ft, the I/E yet heavier Magnum posted a "typical" result.

Your buddy's SRT-8 s/b running even with you. Try taking out the Jet Chip and then comapring. His dyno seems high, his trap speed seems low. Doesn't add up.

yea those srt-8 are fast as hell, but don't let 425hp fool u, these cars are heavy as hell obvioulsy, but with a decent modded t/a or ss you could get a kill and (good driver)
